You tried to compare random BGs to wargames. Too bad if the war game teams are even enough, it wouldn’t be 5 druids, 3 rogues, and 2 healing shammys, like random bgs end up being.

It’s a way more controlled environment for wargames.

Random bgs, again, you could run into teams with super OP comps, all twinks, with multiple of OP classes.

You don’t think that if your team has 1 twink rogue, 1 twink hunter, and me, while on the other side they have 2 twink boomkins, 2 twink rogues, and a twinks hunter, wouldn’t call for some consumables? Lol

That's what I'm saying though, pugs will be pugs.

Lild also has a valid point in how consumables became generally looked down upon as the environment of twinking kind of shifted.

I don't really care for pugs at all these days, so if you feel like you need to use consumables to be at a competing level, then you do you my man, just don't be surprised if people call you out on it.

What I thought was kinda funny, was when Sanit said that if you don't spam consumables in pugs, you're essentially a "casual", because to me, the casual is exactly that. The people who don't/won't wargame, and just chug every consumable imaginable on cd in pugs, because if they don't, they can't compete.

But to answer your question, if you're at such a severe disadvantage, consumables shouldn't be what turns the tide of that game.
