Belt buckle on 59 socket gear

Since people are able to glitch enchants onto gear such as belts and guns wouldn’t it be possible to add the third socket to belts with 2 sockets already?

stats from socket get disabled if you manage to get it on something. It used to be possible to use it on low level stuff and this is the case for any of that gear now.

When the belt buckles could be applied to BoEs you could get it on 59/60, but they changed it to make it soulbind the item and any items that had had it done then had a socket that you did not gain any benefit from, no stats till 70 IIRC. Of course, now i went on an old toon because i thought i still had one in bank and I couldn't find it, either because i got rid of it or because the socket just doesn't show at all anymore.

Anyway, no not possible anymore.

I mean technically it is still possible to add a 3rd gem slot to your belt, but you just can't put a gem in it. When the trade-glitch ''resurfaced'' I saw a ton of 19s with empty sockets on their belts.

Sorry to bump an old thread, has any tested this since 8.1.5? Perhaps we can get the stats from the bonus socket?

My testing at lvl 19 showed you could apply the socket but no gems would bind. I havent done it on 59 yet.

Can confirm it doesn't work at 59 either.
