Bad Hunter Rap

I was wondering how the hunter class got such a bad rap. I havent been playing that long, and put a lot of work into my hunter, only to be told by a bunch of people to re-roll a diffrent class. Its gotten annoying, even to the point of making me mad, and the thing is i cant tell if when people say that if they are joking or not.

Just curious how the hunter class got such a bad rap. Also sorry if i posted in the wrong spot, first time posting lol
 
Came in here expecting a badly written rap about hunters... disappointed, so wrote my own.

Hunters are OP, they take no skill
They can backpedal all game and still top the charts in kills
When one with full focus is targettin' me
It makes me wanna quit F2P...

What do you do, if you get killed by some cloth-wearing guy?
Just come make a post about how we "got lucky" on TI
Simple as, just stack that agility
Then your white hits do so much damage, you dont even need to use abilities

For maximum crutch, you better choose Ally
So you can get that fancy schmancy patch over your eye
Avoid the flag at all costs, head straight for the graveyard
Still roll every other class even if you go full retard

Just tab to a target, any target, and go to town
Remember all the best hunters should have their s-key taped down
When you're not busy backpedallin', disengage off the ramp
Pick a mad name to go with your Hunter - I dunno, something like "bowchamp"?

People hated hunters long before Cata kiddies "put a lot of work" into their hunters. What, you did a few quests? Originally, at low levels, hunters were quite terrible. The people that played them tended to be idiots and tards. Ninjaing items they had no use for. Hunter weapons. "Forgetting" ammunition for their weapons. Meleeing because they forgot or jut liked to hit things. To compensate for this rampant tard nature of the people that tended to play hunters, Blizz made the noob hunter class OP and have continued buffing them ever since, even though they don't need it.

Now, play something else. Anything else. Play against some huntard. Then understand why people hate you and people like you.
 
sorry Aradiel but Originally hunters have always been the best class at low levels.

Also unless a hunter ninjaed an item s/he couldn't use such as a mace/plate or shield, the item they took had use for a hunter. This is due to blizzard terrific rushed hunter design that made every single stat be useful for hunters. At least most hunters i grouped up with were conciderate about passing on caster gear, except for the hunter that needed on Redemption to increase healing done by mend pet, that poor priest...

Also your comment about hunters getting unneeded buffs, you really need to play at max level again, the F2P bracket is corrupting your view.

While at 85 hunters are usless, they are still a op'd class at 20, a semi good 24 hunter WILL NOT be killed by a 20
They can crit 1k, pull 1900 hp, unbuffed(@20), and nothing but buffs in mop

And to us in this bracket, we dont care bout max, cept where it affects us
 
Magikarping across the BG map and still able to kill classes with auto-attacks. Its also the most fleshed out class along with Paladin @ 20. Might aswell play League of Legends since the difference between that and WoW is disappearing.
 
Yeah people covered this well. Hunters used to be notorious for ninjaing and being dumb. Thats because most idiots would be attracted to play a *caugh* nightelf *caugh* hunter with mohawk and ride a tiger (not saying the ones on horde side were any smarter). Then in addition they also needed a ton of stuff that they used passively like swords that warriors and rouges needed. Due to some strange abilities (arcane shot, mend pet) some also got other gear feeling that they "needed it" and the hunter rep was perfect.

Now in this bracket hunters are just unimaginably op. It's nearly ruining the fun unless you are completely boa.

Wrong. You obviously never played at the start of the game. Lowbie hunters had no CC. Their pets did minimal damage and they were incredibly easy to destroy once you got close enough to them, they were dead. End of story. They also had to stand still to shoot. So they had the choice of attacking or running. Not doing both.

I play endgame. Not that it's relevant. All Blizz had to do to improve endgame was improve scaling. Instead, they buffed hunters across the board. Again. Stupid fucking elitists that think DS is endgame. It's easymode trash.

Unless? People ninjaed all kinds of things. Look up hunter weapon. Hunters did use shields in beta, but it never made it live.

Long story short. People that play hunters are tards. Blizz made hunters overpowered to compensate for this. Blizz say they care about low level PvP and they continually destroy leveling and low level PvP. Hunters do the most DPS at the longest range, have the most CC and escape abilities. Blizz could fix this very easily but choose not to.

This time with pandas they've made SP completely OP as they did with Cat and they've Nerfed melee. Again.

Maybe you should learn of something called TEAMWORK. stop being stupid and trying to 1v1 a hunt and do 2v1. If a hunt beats you and another person with you by themselves and you claim to be good you just.. are not

I didn't say all. I didn't even say most. Many though. Certainly enough for Blizz to take notice over time. I play every class. People here simply know one character that I happened to mention being in a WSG with nine huntards once, and one of those huntards was either a TI member or was playing horde and joined the dots. Lesson learned. Never mention anything specific ingame if you want to maintain anonymity.

No reason to feel hurt, lol. A class that is THIS much op deserves to be stereotyped and made fun of. I also play a hunter (Orkira) so I know what I'm talking about.And yeah, paladins are called "retardins" because they are the 2nd most op.

^^ The huntard defense (an obvious straw-man).

Duelling is not a valid system for judging the strength of a class , except for how it play in duels only..

Hunter vs Paladin is obselete since they are both counters for each other. Vs Rogue or Mage or w/e would show more satisfying results in the area of overpoweredness of Hunters.
