My question is: (unless I just hit the wrong key)....I missed on a sap, and it broke my stealth.

Does that sound right? Not arguing about missing. I don't recall ever losing stealth to a missed sap.

My 19 rogue, just zoned into WSG. I went down the tunnel, and a priest, solo, had just grabbed flag and had bubble. I went back to FR, tried sap, missed....lost stealth.

Back in the day (2010) you could miss regardless of your position relative to the target (if I remember correctly). Miss was entirely based on your ability to hit the target. You couldn't have you attacks dodged or parried from behind however.

You are closer to the truth than Bestworld, but not there yet.
Being behind only eliminates parry and that's fair if you think about it: dodge works cuz your target has fucking spider-sense and misses are just you being dumb and failing to hit.

You probably got hit by the garbage voidwalker AoE spam that does like 10 dmg, its honestly ridiculous

Nop only Bosses dodge from behind. Players can/could w/e neither dodge or parry with their ass.

No, there was no one else in base. Just the priest, so no VW around. If no one else has seen this, then we have to go with my other guess/DAX "Miss-clicked".
