"Attainable" Reputations

Re: "Attainable" Reputations

Kalu'ak was supposed to take 9 or 22 wins (idr which one) but was it longer then 9 weeks from when trials got access to northrend to when the fishing contests got disabled to where a trial could possibly have a gf'd exalted rep if they won every weekend?

Re: "Attainable" Reputations

Does anyone know if this ever happened?

Account Shared Gains (50% bonus for any rep that another toon on the same Battle.net account has at least Revered with) — effective 5.0.6 or later

also, does nayone know what the actual RAF bonus is called (if it even shows up on your toon)?

Re: "Attainable" Reputations

Hello!
Today I tried to hit exalted with Ashen Verdict (the Icecrown Citadel Reputations).
I soloed it on my lvl 90 weak geared retri paladin, and did all the mobs up to the 1st boss which i cant defeat solo. Considering I can reset 5 times per hour it was perfect, because I did 1 clear in 11-12 min (12x5=60). The other + of that tactic was that i can just run my f2p paladin on bubble + speed talent and die on the stairs - in that place i got rep from all mobs in the room. Got average of 3.5k reputation per hour, and like 4 mins ago I hit Revered. Tomorrow will try to get 22k rep (21+1k of exalted) hoping that I will be 1st :) It will take approximately 7h but I hope I will manage. My f2p char is a draenei and I am using no reputation increasing items.
Can anyone add Ashen Verdict to the list of Attainable Reputations?

Instead of adding automatic bonuses, they added Grand Commendations for the MoP factions. You buy them from the respective quartermaster. They've were introduced in 5.1. It's lame they just didn't do it for every faction in the game.

edit: I didn't read this before I posted:

Hopefully this hasn't turned into this. Kirin Tor is the only one so far in 5.2

Looks like that did turn into that. At least they are starting to add the older factions in the game, if they are adding Kirin Tor, I imagine others might follow.

Re: "Attainable" Reputations

I don't understand what "this dungeon" are You talking about, and I'm interested.

You can now earn bonus reputation for your first dungeon of the day. You can select which reputation you choose to champion by selecting it from the reputation panel on the character screen. When you queue for a dungeon, the UI will remind you which reputation you are championing and allow you to change the reputation from there. (You cannot change that reputation once you are in the dungeon or scenario.)

O.M.G omgomgomg
For the whole time I thought that it will be from the 7 basic reputations... On one hand it's huge because we as f2p might be able to get more reputations. But on the other hand, think about people who grind reps like Bloodsail Buccaneers. If we could chose that rep from our dung, it will destroy the effort they put in the farming.
We will see :)

Re: "Attainable" Reputations

When you chose your first random of the day you get the option of picking a rep from your rep tab to increase. When you kill the last boss you are awarded 750 rep. Only once er day. Better than nothing.

Re: "Attainable" Reputations

Please correct me if I am wrong, but Thorium Brotherhood Reputation should be completely doable on a Death Knight. First you complete questchain in searing gorge. Then, you pick up This quest for a low rep gain, BUT then you can do This one . It is repeatable. You need to get 100dust pieces and turn in for around 1200 rep (more if you are human). These things drop in BRD and IIRC this is a dungeon, not a raid so it is resettable. From friendly to exalted it requires A LOT of these, but well... this is the grind :)
Anyone can confirm if my theorycrafting is ok?

you can prolly get exalted if u take all the blues from a MC run and turn em in if your lucky.

Re: "Attainable" Reputations

What do you mean?

you can turn in those thing not exactly sure on names but I think one of em is called Lava Core. they give like 3k rep each to the guy in BRD and you get endless amounts from MC trash mobs. so you can just run MC w/o killing bosses until you get enough to get you exalted.

If that really works I wonder why no one thought abou it before :) but thx for the info.
EDIT: the quests to turn in items like fiery core req Lvl 60, so my way with dust is probably only one
EDIT2: actually the rep is worth nothing. No achi for it, and reps are not shared.
