arms wariors strength vs crit?

Gulbon

Those numbers are way too high

It's possible to hit 500-700 hundred regularly (Not critting)by stacking strength gear and those Greens of attack power.

But it takes very long to gear up and it's hard to do. Not worth the weeks of grinding tbh.

But for some people to still say Strength is useless haven't seen the power that an attack power/strength stacker can get.

This guy had like, 1400 health since he's a glass canon in BGs but was hitting 700s, sometimes 1000ss without critting and was critting up to 1800s and stuff. Topped the damage easily and was obliterating FCs in 3 hits, no crits.

My slams crit 700 atm. Im not gonna double my ap by stacking strength

I wouldn't stack strength either, I just go for the typical build that gives good strength, decent crit, and good health.

However if given a choice between stacking crit or strength, I'd stack guaranteed damage instead of relying on the RNG.

Those kind of numbers aren't possible without zerk/stacks

Worgen is best for alli, belf/orc for horde

say that to crit warriors that hit like 50 less but crits twice as often.

I tried going naked with only Cold Iron Pick equipped and with full Strength gear. The difference non existent to not noticable. Crit is the way to go. I don't think fixed weapon damage multiplier abilities are affected by AP at all (AKA Mortal Strike, Slam) rather than the min-max damage of their weapon.

yes strenght scales very poorly.

Abilities like Slam - Spell - World of Warcraft have two effects. The first is based on weapon damage and the second based on lvl and if you have a 2h or 1h equipped. This is the same for heroic strike and mortal strike

Execute, victory rush and thunder clap scale with ap

Well ap affects weapon damage so they still scale with ap, albeit not directly

ok sooo wow thanks for the response urrm where to start ....
urrm so if your attacks are based on wep damage then suerly you would want the highest possible wepon damage, which is infact Emil's Brand - Item - World of Warcraft which scales to like 24.7 or something, 1.7 higher than the loom?
also dose anyone know what Troteman's Bracers - Item - World of Warcraft scale to because they are tempting me verry much.
whoever said 700-1000 non crit .... are u joking? the biggest non crit i have ever done is about 500 with zerker and a verry squishy shaman im sure with a full strength set and zerker maybe you could push 600 crit ... maybe? but 1000 seems rediculious.
im gonna do some tests to see how much ap affects wep damge and i might pop up the results if they seem good enough but yeah been bging alot and seems crit set is the most fun right now for me (also dont like the idea of farming loom wep)
thanks for all the responses and carry on your chardevs and armories are verry uesfull :)

Its based on wep damage (53 - 81 on emil's brand), not dps. That's why the loom 2h axe is bis

those bracers will scale to 3/3 if youre lucky

and yeah those numbers are wrong

In my warrior with zerk and vs a druid i manage to do 800 - 900 MS and 900 - 1000 Slam crits.

I feel like testing my warrior right now :)

tried SubRogue recently with daggers vs swords, daggers won ofc, but sword look dope, and combat isnt that bad...

In PvE without buffs vs dummy they do:

SubRogues do 800-900 Ambush(without nightstalker) and 1800-1900 Eviscerate.

Which is pretty damn impressive.

Reef Axe its pretty close to loomed axe, so if warrior is strength stacking it should go with reef axe instead of emils brand.
