I broke 300k/day on my most played AH bankie, here is the unmodified fullscreen screenshot, where I tried to show as much information as possible.
I came back to WoW at the beginning of February and realized I needed to be self-sustainable in order to not be a beggar. (asking for a 20k loan from the 800k guild bank but getting rejected was one of the major reasons i started trying to make gold systematically)
The initial idea was to make enough gold by flipping items in the AH to support a second account (main account would be a veteran account for 20-29 PvP) but here we go, 4 months later...i just bought https://www.wowhead.com/item=40110/haunted-memento for 350k to use on my twink.
I was really excited when i first surpassed 800k because that was more than the guild bank, but at this point i am numb with respect to gold. i don't even feel anything when i buy something for 10k and sell it for 20k within a day.
I am still a small fish compared to accounts that have cross-realm operations but I think I have established myself on my server pretty well in a relatively short period of time.
Warning: you are better off doing any minimum-wage job than trying to make gold in WoW from a $$$ per hour perspective. Case in point: I lost about $7k of real life post-tax income (with my business) due to being too involved with WoW over February/March/April (not only AH but also PvP), so this has been a huge net negative for me from a $$$ perspective, but the sense of accomplishment it gave me is priceless.
