EU+US Any way to increase epic proc chance from quests?

I know the epix frenzy is mostly over, but anyway. I have two new theories:
1. warmode makes no difference, (and the ony ppl who ever attack you in warmode are players 30+ lvls higher so pointless); and
2. handing in lots of quests even if no item reward, only gold, does seem to mean an epic comes next... which makes me think it might be spaced in some way so that you get them every x quests.

1. I’m not sure anyone has suggested this, and if so I’m sure it was shot down right away as no real way to test.

2. Sounds good on paper, but I’ve gotten back to back epics personally.

The only rumor I have heard that sounds most plausible but less likely in the aspect of getting a purple to pop would be time. Weather that be how long it was in your quest log ready to turn in, or just time away from questing all together and letting it sit. But again, this isn’t likely all bolder-dash anyway

When you got back to back epics, was that in the first day or two of the new system? Just curious, because ppl were reporting much higher proc rates in those first 24 or 48 hours. Or was it recently?

Could be bs and just coincidence but there could be something in the rumor of potential bad luck protection and time increasing the chance, I hope more people try it to test. Isn't that what Saxxon said he did and he is full of epics. Holding the quest for 2 weeks to a month, doing some fillers then turning it in. Either there is something in it or he is one of the luckiest twinks in the world lol.

I will say, I had a Rogue that I did not touch for a few weeks after rolling Sooth chest as I was going for back to back epics with a weapon at the time and failed, but I logged in on her a few weeks later, did the lead up quests to Sparkproof gloves and it did proc.

I also left her alone for another few weeks, logged in and did a fillers then the lead up quests to Ello's band and the legs you get on the way went epic. (was mad at myself for not doing the pre-reqs beforehand lol)

So far it seems like 4+ quests after inactivity for a few weeks may give a higher chance but hopefully it can be confirmed or debunked with more people testing.

there is one confirmed way to get at least 5 guaranteed epic quest rewards of choice for one character

This works if the quest rewards a blue item.
1. Before turning the quest join a arena skirmish
2. you need to win it
3. log out
4. log in and turn quest
5. profit$$

There is no way to confirm any actual proof of how to obtain these epics in a specific way. When I rerolled Pkd over and over I was lucky enough to get Sparks and Sooths the same day essentially back to back (pre req quests in between the travel) I then took a break after that bullshit of a reroll and after about a week or so I tried for the remaining items I wanted. I managed to get boots and failed on wrists. Me waiting to do the other quests may or may not of had an impact on my results. I firmly believe this will always just be RNG.

"Enlist in War Mode and activate World PvP, increasing QUEST REWARDS and experience by 25%, and enabling PvP Talents in the outdoor world"

what it says when u hover over warmode

EDIT: the percentage varies from 10-30% depending on which faction is under-represented.

I'm still convinced that there's some hidden, character level "loot luck" stat.

I have characters swimming in (mostly useless) epics and others that can clear 4-5 zones before ever seeing even a rare upgrade.

Do you care about the character in question?Epic proc chance is absimally low. If it's a random character you don't care about, prepare to swim in epics.

Blizzard knows.... they can feel your emotional attachment to the pixels and it feeds them.

You need to ramp up your luck. Do a bunch of quest items you know aren't bis and hope they don't upgrade. Then after you complete like 20 or so then do the actuall quest you want to be upgraded.

I know saxxon perfected this but I was the first to come up with it in my mind

Question answered, I just got 2 epics in a row as I handed in two quests. So, there's no internal 'cooldown'. The only thing of note was that it was a char i hadn't played in quite a while.
