With the approaching expansion in June which will have skirmishes, and the lack of arenas going on now, Biggie and I decided to make a new arena server just like Korgath, except this one is connected with Ursin and Blackwing Lair.

I do not care who joins. If we had any conflicts in the past the slate is wiped clean, I won't have a problem with you, you shouldn't have one with me

If you haven't done arenas before we will be glad to help out.

Korgath has pumped out hundreds of arenas in the past year, and they were for the most part high quality matches, and hopefully Andorhal will do the same. I hope to see old faces from Korgath, and new ones. I have a feeling this new arena server will stay strong this time, especially when skirmishes hit , because then there will always be good players to que with.


We will be using Raid Call or maybe a Skype Group for this server, and we are leaning towards Raid Call but if people really would rather have skype then we may do that.

We will also be using the rules that we have set up on Korgath :

Class balance:

Kochi has drawn up a few rules to balance games for our arenas.


Rogue
- level 3 dagger from Senjin Village/Goldshire vendor
- only Assassination spec

Warrior
- level 3 weapon from Senjin Village/Goldshire vendor


Hunter
- level 3 bow from Senjin Village/SW trade center
- Marksmen spec
- no Aspect of Hawk


Druid
- no Feral spec (Guardian is fine)

Monk
undecided, needs more testing

The AGM bubble is not allowed unless both teams agree to use it for the match.

For those using P2P account the restrictions are:
- no guild BoA
- no chants over skill 100


Raid Call:

We now have a RC for the server, the ID is : 6193589

Maybe a skype group in the future still depending how this goes.


PS: I am willing to make ANY ANDORHAL PLAYER a forum signature with their character in the place of mine on my sig and different text color if you want one.

Wasn't one of the main problems with the first one the time it took to regear and relv a toon..? If so why would you make a different "arena realm" yet again so people would have to reroll yet again. Each time you ask people to reroll you're gonna be having people lose interest. Sorry I am not interested either way however I am someone who doesn't like having 10 alts and am just giving you the opinion of someone like me.

because theres already people on blackwing lair and ursin to arena against, the thing is we already know we will have games going, its just a matter of if anyone else would like to join or not.

I'm interested, depends on what rogues are looking like though. I'm not into the low utility/high damage playstyle they offer atm.

With the current state of the game I'd prefer to just play private servers.

This is a good idea, and I see the logic for moving it to a server that is in the same group as Ursin and BWL. But have you considered the benefits of actually building this ON Ursin or BWL? Same benefits, but then there's a preexisting community that people can be a part of when not doing arenas. You've probably thought this through more than me though, so I'm sure you've thought of this and can help me understand.

because Code Name: Silverback Gorilla is the alpha male and becomes very hostile when people reroll on bwl . usually he goes apeshit on them and bans them .

because they are separate communities is why, they aren't both there for arenas, they all do their own thing, and I have no right to go onto a server that wasn't built by me and tell people what to do.

That's a good response and that makes a whole lot of sense. My time has gotten more constrained recently but I might very well look into doing this in the future!
 
I like the idea. Maybe i'll join and bring a couple of friends. The only thing that really bother me is that I have to roll horde.
 
You are more than welcome to go Alliance but we not recommend it at all (it will be very difficult for you to get consistent games). We recommend everyone stays the same faction as that opens up the options that you are able to play with. With that being said, your ability to play with Ursin players on Alliance and BWL players on Horde does help a lot. For those wondering, Anderhol chat and Ursin chat are one, but BWL is on the same CRZ.

PLEASE DO NOT ROLL ON BWL OR URSIN FOR THIS. Neither of these realms are actually linked to us (meaning we are doing this because there are pools of players on those realms interested in arenas) so we have no right to force roll into their communities. Ursin does not use the addon for the most part and BWL is very protective of it's chat/playerbase.
