Aerie Peak 3v3 Arena Tournament With TCG Prizes

1. Allow AGM. Atleast wearing it. Even the Use should be considered. Or limit it to 1 AGM / team or something. Completely forbidding it, is stupid.
2. Make it 3 wins out of 5, instead of 2 out of 3. Start with Nagrand. Loser choses next; and same again after.
3. Allowing Hybrids might actually give some more possible comps to be made.

1. Allow wearing, not shield (else every team needs a sham)
2. Yes. - If anyone has a problem with this, remember we play this game, and arena, because its FUN
3. Im not sure what to think about hybrids, having 3 potentional strong healers is IMO to much though, so, IMO if you get a hybrid then the last dps must be pure dps like warrior, rogue, warlock, mage(no way to create pressure against 3 capable healers)

1. I'm inclined to agree
2. I wouldn't turn down more games. I think we should consider this depending on how many teams sign up.
3. Which classes specifically are you referring to? Just Prot Hybrids?

If it's not to late, if anyone needs a priest, let me know :3

Rokku do you have AGM? Yeah man don't bother equipping something you put a handful of hours into. Might as well not equip your BoA gear either. (oh wait I'm sure you don't have one do you.)

Like I said, you can wear AGM any time you want. I just think tournaments should be about skill, with as little influence from gear advantages as possible.

If I had 1 or 2 AGM's, I would GLADLY unequip them in two swift global cooldowns for the sake of balancing an f2p tournament. If it came down to it and didn’t fuck up people’s hit rating and such, I would even consider banning all BoA's/helm’s/AGM’s if that meant that more people would be interested in joining the tournament.

If every single person in the tournament was forced to wear BIS pre-boa/helm/agm gear, then that would really be a real tournament, and easy to achieve.

Doesn't the official WoW arena tournament do something similar to this, where they let everyone have a chance to pick out all the gear they want for their character in that tournament. This is because they want to make it as fair as possible, and leave it up to skill.

The amount of matches will depend on how many people actually sign up, round robin takes a massive amount of time.

See the problem with this Rokku is that every person defending AGM has one. Moreover they have convinced themselves that having their AGM took "work" and that everyone else doesn't have one because they are "lazy" or "uninterested." It's funny because this includes people like Shft with 20 hats, Bizr who farms for Ivycloth Bracers by killing 40+ rare mobs weekly, and many other people.

Shft has one, and it's not BiS for warlocks. Cute lil' argument though.

I like you, but your logic fucking sucks. I've never had an AGM on an F2P and still think it should be allowed. Do I think it with give an advantage to certain teams? Yes. But as I've said before, if you have to pop AGM, you're most certainly the kill target, and that bubble will be gone in 3 to 5 seconds.

@Mialu, no.

Not sure exactly why I was brought up in this?
I don't have AGM, and I've surely never defended it. If anything I've always said it's completely overrated.

He was just pointing out dedication, has nothing to do with having an AGM.

Out of curiosity, who are you playing with?

3-5 seconds is an eternity in f2p arena. It would be almost like if you popped lay on hands, except with absorbs instead of heals.

Alright so we want to get a feel for if TI wants this streaming thing. In order to stream every match for the community, we'd need to change the 3v3 to a 5v5. However, it will still be a 3v3. We will have the 3 arena combatants and streamer +a volunteer in one group, 3 arena combatants +2 more volunteers in the other group. The streamer and volunteers each run across to the enemy starting area and allow themselves to be killed. Arena combatants remain in the room until this process is complete. 5 seconds after the death of the extras, the real match commences.

We conducted a rough test, except 2v2, sound off. Sound can be turned on if we choose to turn it on. Follow link:

We appreciate your feedback, let us know what you think

Still looking for streamer, please contact me
