So you're indirectly implying i've meet only shit 29 rogues, ok gonna try the sub spec on my 29 myself to see if i'll still have the same feeling i'm having now, that would be fair imo.

Tho i keep my strong feeling they're not top tier as u say but i might be mistaking, no one is perfect, not even me :)

We shall see, thanks for a decent and civil convo anyways

Depends what you rate as top tier. No, they're not SV hunters, balance druids, disc priests, arms warriors, which I would rate as S tier in this bracket. Maybe SV is same tier as sub actually, in terms of what impact both classes can bring to the game (still 29 only, fuck this f2p shit).

Well activity is good but there isnt much competition or even good players at all.
@Hurrx and me are already ruling the bracket and it seems that no one can stop us.
We will queue tomorrow evening again on ally. Hopefully some horde can step up.

What servers are active? or dosen't that matter?

Depends on the person.

Do you want to be around other twinks outside of battlegrounds? Perhaps look to join a guild? etc.

If you don't really care about those things, and just queue solo, or with friends on Bnet, then no, servers don't matter much.

Active servers atm for 29s is probably Outland (Alliance), Stormscale (Horde), Sylvanas (Horde), Silvermoon (Alliance), Ravencrest (Alliance), and as for the more f2p mix, Aggramar (Horde) has a bunch.

Tbh i think servers really matter if you're f2p and don't want to feel alone on a realm.

Otherwise, as p2p life is easier.

Hey, would I get faster pops by queuing for all random battlegrounds or is it better to exclude specific ones?
And how's the quality of skirmishes? There was a lot of excitement around them when they came out.

P.S. I haven't played in ages so I'm really clueless.

Okay, so I just had to reply to this, because, seriously? (and this is regarding your previous posts as well, prior to the one I am quoting right now).

As you can see, you have plenty of roles to fill out, and your class is amazing at it. And as for the damage being bad, that's straight up just not true. In decent gear (and using Jagged Wing Slasher - 2.60 speed quest dagger), you should do 2k to 2k+ gloomblades depending on target. When I pop Orc racial for example, I average 2.3k-2.5k gloomblades, and around the previous mentioned numbers outside of that.

It seems like you haven't played a level 29 rogue much, or at all this patch.

Now i've had the time to actually test my lvl 29 rogue in bg's using the same dagger you're talking about. I wonder where do you get those avg 2.3k-2.5k gloomblades, mines are actually 700k -1.4k. Don't tell me the orc racial counts that much, it's almost or over 1k+ difference. Eviscerating for 500-700, really? Hp pools are 7k+.

The gameplay itself is dumb as duck, i'm having more fun playing my lvl 20 outlaw rogue imo. The time you take to actually kill a target puts you asleep. Funny considering you're a pure DPS class. Don't tell me having 2xshadowstep is incresing the level of fun cuz for me it doesnt, at all. In the past you were feared as rogue, now you're oh well, let's burn his defenses and he will die with his shit dps anyways.

I'd rather play my lvl 20 Warr and actually pressure those healers or melt faces tbh, i'm having more fun. Or even better, play my 110 rogue, there i'm having fun for sure and there i can actually win a game by myself for the team and not by playing that OP as duck spec(at 110) called Subtlety.

Sorry mate, but i don't see the rogue as you see it atm, just tried to, it's impossible.

Idk lol, my 19 does 800 glooms xd.

And yes, I don't dispute the fact that rogues used to be way better back in the day.

Hey guys, I mainly play horde , and I really got the urge now to make a dwarf warrior or paladin. Not sure which yet and im not that used to the 20-29 bracket...

Warrior: I know how to play it, and i do love it, I've played warrior in classic on 60, twink as 19, twink as 39, twink as 60, alt as 100 and alt as 110... so that's something..

Ret Paladin: I used to play it ages ago on 29, 60 and 70, that was fun, but it's like a totally different class now... And i don't know if its viable or even fun in comparison to the arms warrior these days, thoughts?

I'm open to suggestions on server and guild, and perhaps some help to get up speed on the server asap. I mainly have my 19's and 60's on Defias Brotherhood and Haomarush... so if someone wants a twink there in return for helping me, i could help with that too.

Arms Warrior: God Tier (20/29)
Ret Pal: Tier 2 (20)
Tier 1 (29)

Both classes are more than viable, arms is just really overpowered atm. As Ret you get a much more different Role since you can Offheal + with HoJ you can CC Healers or DPS. Mobility of both classes as 20 arent great, as 29 you get additional gap closers.

I recommend you a Ret Paladin, since there are already enough FotM Arms Warriors out there.

For Guilds and servers i dont know, but Magtheridon Alliance has a bunch of 20-29. Dont forget to download the F2P Chat Addon. :)

Thanks so much, finally a reply :) I will check it out right away, and getting the addon now! :) I didn't know such a thing existed.

No problem, if you wanna make a new Toon on Horde, most of the Twinks (including me) are on the Server Aggramar. Just ask if you need more information about anything!

Greetings Mol
I will keep this in mind, right now im not super interested in making another horde, because i got a lot, (only one 29 though atm) But i might consider it later :) Maybe a feral druid when the patch hits ;p

to add to the rogue discussion above... been playing a few bgs on my 29 rogue (see sig) and these are my observations:

cons
- like achmed said, 1.3-1.4k crits, never above 1.5k

- get melted within 15 sec by warriors, hunters, balance and prolly some other classes too

- can't solo any healer. the healer doesn't even have to be good just not extremely bad

- a lot of classas have a lot of dots, which makes gamechanging saps/blinds hard to pull off

- feels like every class have more hp than I do

- not an independent class

pros
- great utility (and in theory) great CC

- shadowstep + sap + blind can make life hell for EFC in wsg trying to pass mid

- great support class if you're queueing with a good warr/hunt/disc/boomy. you bring the control and they bring the dmg

- if you're lucky with crits, you can bring good pressure on EFC/healers

in short
- everyone playing a dagger rogue needs to realize you're playing a support class and therefore you heavily rely on your teammates – which is a BIG change compared to any other expansion

Yeah, that's what i've said, you're too dependent on teammates to actually do the job well. Dmg is shit, survival is shit, utility is quite ok but u cant kill a thing by yourself, only bads maybe.

Also those 2xSS are kinda useless talking about target uptime.

Im not having fun at all for the first time in so many years of low lvl rogue. And yes, healers piss on you and most no braindead dps classes.

Add to this shit teammates and you have the perfect ingredient to logoff instantly and do something else.

Now i wonder where is the WOW factor @Bestworld told me about in playing sub rogue at 29?
