Legend
rogue(my fave class)/DK(easy leveling)/mage(have a 60 already).

I'll give ye my advice: Don't roll a 64. I could understand if you're terribly at WoW, but it's not a hard game, so dont ruin our bracket with more of the 64 scum.

Aye.

says the one rolling a hunter in the 15-19 bracket, LOL

he asked for an advice when it comes to a class. Dont answer if u are gonna do the i love vanilla crap. Vanilla is gone, move on and adapt. Twinking is about maxing a char and 64>60 for sure.

ontopic i would make a 64 dk hit res soft cap then go str gemming and go frost or make a rogue and stack agi

Roll 64, paladin or mage.

Lol, if i wanted to be in the 60s bracket, i would deffinately not make a 64. You will not get respect from anyone. I also would not roll a DK for the same reasons.

Aye? Since when do I have a hunter in the 15-19 bracket?

It also seems that us 60s are making agreements to ignore the 64's, via healing, and etc. If you're going to roll a 64, prepare to shunned by most and ignored by almost all the 60s.

quoted for sheer stupidity.

1, you don't play to win?

2, even if you don't play to win, you would want 60-64 games to pop as often as possible, and 64's make that happen.

3, even if you don't play to win or care about keeping the 60-64 bracket active, you should realize that 64's heal more than 60's. so who has the upper hand here again?

either way i think i am going to postpone my 64 project because this bracket just seems very immature overall...

If i was in the 60s bracket, i would rather have 60s pop very rarely than dilute every game with horrid 64s.

Alrighty buddy, lets go through each of your magical numbers.

1. I play to win, every day, every game. You DO NOT need to crutch yourself on 4 levels and 18 sockets (if plate) in order to win a game. If you do, you are BAD, you need to go learn your class, read your abilities and understand them, and then understand that you are not a hero and that you need to work with your team to win. Simple.

2. If you think about it, isn't level 60 lower than level 64? This results in people having to do LESS work to get to the required level for twinking. Not to mention, people on Vanilla accounts cant level past 60. So, no, actually, we don't want more 64's - we wan't more 60's. If you're speaking in terms of leveling and time spent to level up, then 60 is the obvious choice as it's easier to get to 60 than 64. Saying that "64's bring more players to the bracket!" is f**king wrong.

3. The difference in healing done by a 60 and a 64 is minimal. 64's do have the upper hand here, due to 10+ sockets and gem gear. However, if we didn't have 64's plaguing the bracket, there wouldn't be a demand for a 64 healer.

Your 64 project is a bad idea. I love how youre implying that we're immature, however if you look at ANY organized bracket, there are shunned classes and abilities, for example: Grandfathered weapons in the 29 bracket, 29 & 39 ban on "Aimed Shot" from Hunters, Dislike of Free Action Potions. So, even though our bracket may not care as much about "grandfathered" weapons, Aimed Shot, and Free Action Pots, we place our restrictions on LEVELS. - Lets go a little further though, what happens if a 29 or 39 hunter is found using Aimed Shots, or Free Action Pots, or Grandfathered Weapons that are nearly game-breaking? Well, I can gaurantee you that the 29's and 39's have internal agreements as to "ignore" said player, by not healing him, or whatever.

Think about it kid, and please pull your head out of your ass.

So... much... Hatred, it's entertaining in the sense that people actually give a fuck..... Think hard bro, think waaaaaaaaaay back to the days of original 19 twinking, before exp lock was ever there, You really think all the level 16's, 18's even 11's or 10's enjoyed being fucked over by fully enchanted / BiS level 19 chars with socks stuffed down their underpants? Get real bro there isn't a problem with 64's, Since day fucking 1 players have always done what they have to get an edge over other players, Your whole shitty "I'm not going to heal or support this person" agreement is complete dogshit... Either learn how to play and beat the 64's yourself without whining like a little bitch, or go the fuck home.... Remember RTZS the video? or was that before your time, I bet you never even played in classic and yet you're still judging, Well anyway incase you don't know about it, The rogue was defeating fully geared players naked, Due to Good timing and general class knowledge, Yes i agree the game has changed since and that may not be possible against fully resi stacked players or blah blah, But even so, Just fucking get over it and get over yourself and your righteous attitude.

Yeah I have never understood this hate towards others in the bracket. Blizzard made the brackets this way now, not the playerbase. If the queues were still 60-69 do you think everyone would be still rolling at 60 and not 69? It is like us in 35-39, do you think we all roll 35 because 39's have an advantage? It is ridiculous.

Oh and btw you can infact get 20 sockets as a 60-64 plate wearer, you can get Fierce Mantle at only a slight armor loss but two more sockets. Or you can keep the engi helm and get 18 sockets plus a meta-gem.

Regards.
