it seems like the obvious choice to me...
with stronger bubbles i can spend less time casting and standing in one place and more time being mobile and playing offensively (something between 70 and 90% of my healing done is with bubbles alone regularly).
less time spent casting is also less time i give my opponents the opportunity to spell lock me
not only that but versatility is the only stat thats going to help me when im being trained on by horde racials.
haste isnt going to help me do anything when i cant do anything.

i wouldn't touch arenas with a disc, they're probably the worst class to play in a small group setting.
if i were to take arenas seriously id play something with a CC ability or an interrupt or a gap opener/ closer... of which priests have none of.
so yeah you wont catch me playing scrims but once in a blue moon

priest stayed real good for arena, up until they took Psychic Scream to lvl 60.
RIP priests being strong in arena, bgs they are good still (outside of when stacked)

nothing really, hence their weakening. Can't have an immobile class without adequate defensives, mobility, OR cc. great kit for output only, healing & damage, but that doesn't matter when you got raped in 3 melee attacks getting double cleaved down by 2 melee etc.
definitely a shit ton weaker in BG's too, cuz disc isn't well rounded on its own(without other classes directly with you & helping you move / play) like it once was, was never like a rsham but PS alone made people less likely to try and just 1v1 you down / cut you off, ferals weren't going to auto win opening on you etc..
Priest has none of the 3, fear was the thing it had, as well as inner fire if you count that but PS removal without replacing with something just as good or better did it, as far as their arena standing/ability to do anything at all.
in a mechanical sense iirc they replaced PS with talents im quite sure, spectral guise etc... obviously way way shittier, priest was god w/ AOE fear @ 19 for obv reasons.
