In other news, 2manned Algalol 25man yesterday, that was reasonably easy.

you guys have so much fun with your 80's. i am jealous.
 
so basically anyone playing DK/paladin can equip 409's and faceroll through heroic 25 man now?

Just finished all the hardmodes in Ulduar 10 except for Hodir and Algalon :) Hodir might be doable but the dps requirement is very tough to beat.

I ended up doing Yogg+1 because I spent many hours wiping to Yogg+0 over the past 2 days and I don't think phase 3 is possible on an 80. Feel free to try prove me wrong though if you have the mental stamina to cope with the stupid amounts of RNG on that fight. My best attempt was 13% and that's when everything went perfectly.
 
A hotfix will be applied to adjust how Vengeance stacks for tanks of all classes:

  • Vengeance should now ramp up more quickly. Avoidance will now grant Vengeance based on the average damage of the avoided NPC auto-attack, instead of just refreshing existing Vengeance. This does not apply to enemy special attacks.

If I'm reading this right, that would be a buff I think? Since at the moment it would go like:
- Take a hit (get 10k vengeance) -> avoid a hit (10k vengeance buff extended back to 20s) -> avoid a hit (still on 10k with 20s remaning)

Whereas with this hotfix it would look something like this:
- Take a hit (get 10k vengeance) -> avoid a hit (get 10k more vengeance or whatever the average is) -> avoid a hit (MOAR VENGEANCE)

The only negative being that we might not be able to "roll" the vengeance from special/big hits for longer, although we could do stupid things to deliberately increase the average hit from a boss (debuffs, sitting to get crit, etc).
 
So the vengeance would diminish by 5% always? Even if we parried. I wonder how that would affect my vengeance skyrocketing. But yeah, could end up giving us a buff for vengeance. This looks like a fix to prevent "avoidance-streaks" giving low vengeance on a pull, much like the issues with the old system used in cataclysm.

Aelobin, I went back in to figure out which mob one-shot my face, but couldn't find him. I think it was my imagination or a dream I had, rofl

Edit: DK related hotfixes that went live last night:
  • Death Knight
    • Death Strike now deals 7.5% less damage.
    • Death Siphon base damage has been increased by 50%, but it now scales less efficiently with attack power. This should result in an increase in damage for Frost and Unholy Death Knights, and a minor reduction in damage for Blood Death Knights benefitting from Vengeance.
    • Blood
      • Rune Strike now deals 8.5% less damage.
      • Heart Strike now deals 8.5% less damage.

Hey is the new pve solo thing on ptr? If so, have yall tried it yet? or is it 90 only?

Mobs are 90+, so most likely it'll be for 90's only. Even if you could enter you'd be missing 90% of the time and it'd take ages which would probably piss off anyone else waiting.
