I still don't think they belong in this bracket and wouldn't be too fussed if they were nerfed.
what about 600 professions? LW enchants?
imo, things are pretty balanced if everyone geared properly. the only classes that get screwed over are pure physical dps classes. but then, you could always play a resil-stacking CC-rogue that is just super annoying.
I think the 600 professions are fine. Why? 2 reasons:
- We've always been able to get the new profession bonuses at a level lower than the new cap, but never have we been able to get items nearly equivalent to the final (heroic) raiding tier of the expansion after the one we're playing.
- You can't really compare the benefits from 600 professions to the 409 items. Even if you double the profession gains to account for 2 professions, that still doesn't even come close to what the MoP items provide.
And I have no idea what you were trying to say in your second sentence. The only "pure" (opposite of hybrid) physical dps class is a rogue. If you were talking about melee in general, how have we been screwed over when we have the insane weapons and 4 armor pieces as a plate wearer (or more if you feel like using the mail/cloth/plate int belt)?
Edit: I just had a look at your "CC-rogue" chardev. Why on earth are you reforging everything to parry for PvP? That's going to do you a whole loada good if 1) the enemy goes behind you, 2) the enemy stuns you, 3) the enemy is a caster, or 4) the enemy has a decent level of expertise (unlikely, but still possible).
