80 DK twinking - Some thoughts, plans and showoff

wow...140k dps?! well, that kind of damage is unacceptable...

current resil cap for 80 is what? like 88%? so you would still be doing 17k damage a second to someone who sacrifices everything to stack resil...that is, you could 100-0 him in 2~3 seconds.

Eh, I'd imagine it'd be possible. I used to do it on my 85 DK before the baseline nerfs with just over 22k dps. So if I could get off a 50k+ ignite before getting knocked around like a bitch yeah, I don't see why not.

well, i have a bad feeling because two things might happen now

1, blizzard nerfs these 409+ items and people are left disappointed.

2, blizzard doesn't nerf them, but you guys end up getting burnt out quickly because of the OP'ness. this is pretty much the equivalent of a level 30 wearing T3 pieces.

They'll probably get nerfed eventually but I don't see how we could get burnt out (at least not quickly). The amount of "under-manning" possibilities these open up is immense (like trying to 10-15man LK25hc with 80s).

can you solo farming swp trash now? that would be a good money maker. furthermore, if you get random people to help you down the first boss, you could probably solo the rest!
