80 DK twinking - Some thoughts, plans and showoff

So when MoP comes, will you twink at 85 and solo Black Temple?

SWP is out due to Kalecgos i guess, but you could always grab a random helper to help you with that fight and finish the rest on your own.

well i was talking to Aelobin and as you can see here he hasn't done BT yet. And if you watch his video, TK takes forever too. Everything would be so much easier if you twink at 85. You could run level 70 twinks through BT and SWP.

Aelobin hasn't done BT afaik because he doesn't like it. It's actually very easy, I've managed almost all the bosses myself (minus council, illidan (because of council) and the two hard ones for 85s (RoS and Najentus))

As for SWP, most isn't possible because of berserk timers. I've 2manned up til twins, and the following was possible:

Kalecgos (easy with two tank classes)
Brutallus (Impossible, at least with current dps)
Felmyst (Possible, but need a ranged (and a dispel unless holy paladin/spriest))
Twins (Might be possible, but I certainly didn't have the dps in the group, we had to run blood dk + healer because the damage was so high)
Muru should be possible, but hard
KJ - I've talked to aelobin, and he said the enrage was tough to live until, let alone dps for. MoP will likely change that though.
 
BT is just a big pain in the ass. All that trash, Najentus and RoS deterred me from ever trying to solo it.

I'm not convinced that Illidan is soloable at 80 (at the moment), since I struggled to survive when 2 manning him with an 85 resto shammy. Anyone who fancies a challenge, feel free to prove me wrong on that ;)

I gave Muru a fair few tries but found it near impossible to keep up with the waves of adds whilst still surviving. KJ also has too much magical damage (tried many times in different gear sets).

so in my opinion, you should definitely make a new 85 DK in MoP, imagine all of the things that you can solo at 85.

plus, i am sure you are pretty much burnt out by now with your 80 DK.

you don't get it, do you?

he thinks that my question is stupid because that is "obviously" Russian. but actually there are many languages that look like russian and many countries that have Russian as their official language.

so from a SS you cannot tell if the player is actually a Russian.
 
I just recently got into 80 twinking. Been mainly twinking in the lower brackets. Please let me know what and why I need to change, to make this 80 DK better. Thx in advance.
