question, so do i actually need to get gear for my spec? such as pally, i play hpal (20 twink) and use ret gear bc i dont wanna farm hpal gear, will i gain stats if i put on gear with intellect?
 
So do different enchants work in bgs and arena? i tested this in arena last night with @lucasyo in arena and flintlockes minor speed and stats chest did not work however +4 damage scope did?

Hey bud. Minor speed and stat on chest works. It is just lit up in your char sheet but it works.

I don't remember if flint gives atk power or crit but if it gives crit then it won't work. It should work with attack power doe

If you had any idea how programming works then you'd know that for Enchants to suddenly work would require intentional changes to the game.

Just like they intentionally made the archeology spear max ilvl at level 1? Or intentionally made unsheathing your weapon crash the game? You don't think that any of the changes to pvp, like say... the change to honor and prestige leveling, could possibly affect pvp templates? This is obviously a bug and should be reported as such. But it's funny how "some people" advocate for the separation of exp-off and exp-on, reportedly to salvage "competitive games", but get all excited at any occurrence of broken shit.

Expect them to get patched shortly.

Seriously, I don't know how some of you can start breaking this down into a science as if it's going to stay around.

Elemental Shamans' stat templates are so broken that they literally gain +800 health every consecutive PvP instance they enter.

Methinks some of you are going to be eating all of this other gear & chants you're rushing to buy/grind out looking for an easy OP crutch, because this patch is obviously a shitty mess atm.

Learn 2 fuckin Play not rely on cheap gear boosts.

Seems like Blizz took most of their decent programmers and testers for other titles and stuck the derpy interns on WoW.

A Bug arises when there's a lack of code. That isn't the case here. So it's not a bug.

Content returning to the way it was is possible if and only if new code is added to allow it to do so?

Function X exists in game mode 1. Game mode 2 is implemented, adding in Function Y which will always take priority over Function X and has opposite functionality.

Game mode 3 is implemented, and Function Y is not re-implemented causing Function X to take priority.

By law of hypothetical, your logic fails at face value.

Considering that having Enchants enabled is the default, (like they have been since vanilla), there isn't any additional coding to make them work. In fact, to disable them would require additional coding and a server var associated with that code (like enchantsEnabledInInstancedPVP=1/0) . If enchants are enabled that probably means part of the Stat Template code is broken/missing, and thus this is a BUG, by your definition anyhow. And there's quite a bit of evidence that Stat Templates are, indeed, broken at the moment. Don't get so heated about code you didn't actually code
