Buddy I'm gonna be honest with you, I'm 100% aware that you have no clue about this topic. So I wonder why you're even trying to argue? Again, I can't stand people who argue from ignorance.

Read this: http://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/16202811071
That thread on the B.net forums is the sole reason that the brackets have been merged. Here's the reason for the merge, and I quote: "The initial reason to separate twinks from nontwinks is that nontwinks were at a disadvantage and couldn't compete with twinks.

Have you done any low level games since the introduction of BOAs?

Today, I can say with factual proof that twinks do not have a single advantage over levelers in BOAs aside from experience. Not grandfathered gear that is now useless, not high powered enchants nor professions. Nothing. There are 0 advantages of having EXP off versus someone who is leveling and has the exact same enchants on the exact same BOAs as those of us with EXP off.

Therefore, I'm factually proving that the initial reasoning behind keeping EXP Off players from EXP On players is no longer valid.
"
If you feel that did something more power to you. I'm not going to argue against someones feel goods. However the queues were split because they didn't want players with their xp turned off in the same bgs as someone with their xp turned on. There is nothing else that determines which queue you would be placed in. There is a blue quote stating as such lost in the void since the forums changed but if I find it you'll be the first to see it ;-)

Also, what you seemed to have glanced over in my post, my response to you was more in regards to you saying they didn't want twinks stomping levelers. If that were true they did no such thing.

How interesting that the one piece of evidence that would make your arguement hold value was lost in the void.

Indeed. It would be so awesome if the old Lich King forums still existed. Lots of good content was in there. I know its OT (like we aren't already) but this is a good example:

Still nothing on the twinks stomping levelers though?

How in the world does a blue post from 2008 prove why they merged in 2016? You have to be trolling.

This Twitter reply proves that they merged due to there being no difference in Gear between a leveler and a Twink.

@Mvq
Just remove the merge statement you made. Thats not what this post is for. It's for "in-depth" info about the enchant confusion going on.
You adding that extra comment causes more confusion.

I understand why they were merged. What you're not grasping is why they were separated. That even when xp off players were not in the leveling queues geared twinks still were. Blizzard never separated twinks from levelers, only xp off players from xp on players.

Either which way we've probably gone off on a tangent here long enough. Respond if you like but I'm going to hope in some queues and see what the changes have brought.

You still haven't said why they were merged and why they were seperated. You've just stated that you have evidence that you can't get due to the Wotlk Forums not existing anymore.

I don't have evidence, and I doubt I can find any particular official evidence to why Xp-off and Xp-on was split in the first place, but I was around when they introduced Exp Elimination and the general sentiment seemed to be to allow levellers to experience pvp combat without worrying about 19s (and x9's) in twinked out gear from roflstomping levellers. This gap was waayyy larger back then because of the sheer amount of imbalance at certain lower level brackets and the x9's having so much more abilities than the standard leveller did.

My speculation to why it was merged: Player base decline and general loss of interest in the game might have pushed Blizz to balance lower level pvp in an attempt to recoup subs.

Guys Guys GUYS. Let's just be happy that the OG 19's FC is back! All we need now is a wargame to be organized...

this is clearly a bug and not working as intended, enjoy it while it lasts.

If you had any idea how programming works then you'd know that for Enchants to suddenly work would require intentional changes to the game.

Outside of the stupid argument above, Suffix's work in BGs. Its only the SUFFIX value that you gain, not the base values of the item.

That's for this info buddy, I'll add it to the Thread.

Added this to the Thread and also removed the Twink Merge Removal part.

-- Suffix now work; explained
The Stats an item gains from a Suffix now works in the same way Enchants do. So for example, Scouting Trousers of the Eagle gives Scouting Trousers +4 intellect and +4 stamina. Therefor when using these trousers in PvP you'll gain the +4 int and +4 stam.
