6.1 Veteran and F2P Information (PATCH DAY)

Indeed, and that needs to be updated as well. We have a beta solution but the addon is not mine; so I don't feel right giving it out without approval. But work on this and F2PDev is commencing.

Basicly it is an expired normal wow-account which can be played like a trial account with the benefit to get into a guild and get your trial character maxed out. You get the wow 10 day trial every now and then to level characters further (will be locked after 10 day trial higher then level 20), more achievements, boas and so on. Simply it means alot more fun and things to do as a veteran account looking from a normal trial-account position :)
 
Good god patch 6.1 is fantastic. I leveled a Priest from 1-11 in 36 min last night. As soon as you spawn immediately start heading to the 10-15 zone. Kill as you go, you'll be ready for lvl 15 mobs before you get there... I didn't do a single quest.

Also oh lordie the haste.... watch out. 1.1 sec Flash Heals at 20 are srsbsn...


If things stay this good there many not be a need to upgrade. Although for 5 bucks for guild access why not...
 
fury warrior is super fun.
back to back blood surge procs catch people by suprise( im pretty sure wild strike gcd is shorter than normal gcd)

not sure if str or crit is better now because crit gives more rage and more range= more wildstrikes= higher chance to get free wildstrikes with blood surge



edit:nvm str should still be better blood surge procs from blood thirst

You can now obtain the Red Rider Air Rifle feat of strength by purchasing the item from the toy vendors in SW/Org. Not sure if anyone else has already mentioned this, figured I would post in case it went unnoticed.
 
the restriction locks for the professions and red text on the mail aren't currently on. it shows errors when you try to make mail but i don't know if ya can receive individual mail from others. plus the cap for professions still shows at 100 points, can't seem to get it past that number on my toons.
 
Deviate-Transformation (havent tested others) overwrites Ghostwolf means you run around as pirate/ninja all the time and never see your wolf :(

I'm confused. How is this different than how it has been working? All you need is a p2p to do /invite name-server
 
I'm confused, do your BoAs have to be on the same realm, or off of your character? Because when i try to open the BoA book all my BoAs are shaded and i can't choose them, yet there are BoAs on the same server, just they are currently being used by the other characters. I am too lazy to search for this info. kgo

I'm not an expert on cross realm grouping but my understanding is you used to have to have a p2p on each realm. A f2p would not see a cross realm pst from a p2p. Even if you did the name - server it just wouldn't show up. Now that has changed, you can directly receive whipers and group invs, regardless of server.

Correct me if I'm wrong... that's what I got from the post.

You have to log on to the toons with the looms before they are added to the BoA menu.

Ok kgo, you need to log into each character that has a boa item for it to be added to the tab.

Go to your battle.net account and sign up for the free 10 day trial of WoD. If you've already used this recently, open a ticket and ask nicely for a couple more days. That's what I did. I asked them if I could have a couple more days to make sure all of my low level (twinks) wouldn't be excluded from veteran status because of the potential gold cap or anything. They gladly gave me a few free days of game-time on each of my unsubbed accounts.
 
Veteran accounts can not use guild vault or mailbox.
