I usually don't care for this kinda stuff and I'm not one hundred percent sure since I have stayed away from twink brackets.

Doesn't Disc priest also have the strongest heals out of every healing class? So with a true healer they would be super OP.

I gotcha.

From watching previous tournaments almost all of the people that play are good players. So I think they would be able to play disc the proper way. So I don't think allowing a disc as a DPS would be a good thing.

Once again, not 100% sure.

Yes you are correct, disc is played best by aggressive smart players who know what priority means. If anyone wants to play with a real disc hit my line im down for bgs and now arenas too. I was a strictly bg player up until now, idk what changed my views but im getting bored with bgs so im all for arenas, especially organized competitive ones.

I wish that were the case, friend. Alas, I think the rest of my team went hunting for pokemon on their smartphones or something. I would be like Fulton Reed without Dean Portman, and that other guy whose name escapes me at the moment (he was some small, scrawny Asian twerp who became one of the "bash brothers" in D3).

Reason for this is to showcase you're skills more as a team to achieve the kill. Makes games more diverse and more interesting for the audience to watch.

As of right now the rules are pretty slack as is, rules could change but i'm trying to keep it as open as i possibly can.

Gear was a major factor then, and is not so much now. Enchants caused crazy burst, so ya maybe is best to limit comps to +1 heals. But now, since everything is so even and balanced, twinking is just a lower level form of endgame. If endgame queue x3 dps comps, we should queue x3 dps comps.

So now, comps are basically forced to queue +1 disc priest. Disc priest is op. Are we going to watch 8 teams of +1 disc priest play an arena tournament and call it showcase?

When doing triple DPS at high end, games last longer because everyone has allot more defensive abilities. At twink level you don't have as many defensive abilities, therefore games would be over really quickly 99% of the time.

Sure maybe comps are as you say "Forced" to run priest. Even if thats the case, theirs so many comps you can do with in the rules.

Two things you need in a Arena tournament, Balance and Entertainment. I believe these rules covers both points.

P.S: To those who have opinions i highly suggest to keep making them, good ideas are better then no ideas at all.

Hey living, I'm not playing anymore really but I got a question for you as a tourney organizer.

In cata hunts were banned from most low lv tournaments. In WoD feral was banned. Why in legion is disc not banned in these low level tourneys?

I get restrictions can take away from comps and limit diversity but the communities agreed with hunters and ferals being too strong and almost being required to win. How is disc atm any different?

Edit: idk if you were one of the people in favor of the hunt/feral bans or not. If you weren't and you aren't in favor of disc bans then that makes perfect sense. However if you were in favor of bans before why not now as well?

Hey Lil, thanks for the question.

Well tbh the main reason was burst. Feral druids and BM's last xpac had stupid damage and BM's were live lords also.

With Disc priest as they are now, they are the strongest healer but they can't do anything that is broken dps or healing wise. Yes its strong but not broken.

If you want me to elaborate on it let me know.

Is 25k the whole prize pool? Not to be rude or picky but 25k split between three people doesn't really seem worth the time or energy to compete in the tournament.

Nah it's 50k as far as I know as im donating 25k as well. This just hasn't been updated for a while cause of the spectator addon recently being fixed and people being busy after the addon was fixed
