29 WoD 3v3 Championship

Introduction​
The 29 bracket brings to you a 3v3 championship for the title of the greatest 3s team of this expansion. The people of this bracket have been waiting for such an event for a long time. We're so excited to be able to host this tournament for our bracket. This tournament will be the true test of teams synergy and will to fight till the end to win the title. At the end of this glorious tournament a true champion will be crowned.

Date and Time​
The following Dates and Times are when the events will take place:
Sign ups close at 6 AM EST
  • 3v3 Arena Tournament: Saturday July 16th - at 6 PM EST

There is 8 spots available in the 3v3 tournament. The first 12 teams to sign will be in the tournament, any teams signed up afterwards will not participate. Each team must fill out the correct team signup format to be able to participate.

Tournament Rules​
  • Anyone who does not cooperate with the hosts will be DQ'd and won't be able to particapate in another 3s tournament made by our team of 29s.
  • If a team member of yours gets DDoS'D you may only have 1 request to "REPLAY THE GAME OR SERIES". If gates have opened the games will not be restarted or replayed for any reason.
  • Each arena will start on a Nagrand Arena que the loser decides next game.
  • The losing team of each map/match will pick the next arena to be played (Nagrand Arena, Ruins Of Lordaeron, Blade's Edge Arena, Dalaran Sewers). Each time the losing team chooses a map they may only pick that map they chose once until all maps have been played. Each team can pick all 4 maps if their team loses.
  • No Engineering Items/Trinkets allowed in the arena BESIDES "The 18 Int Helm and the Parachute Cloak".
  • No software violating Blizzard’s ToS is permitted.
General Rules​
  • No double classes ("Example" Disc Priest, Shadow Priest, Arms Warrior).
  • No double hybrid in a team comp ("Example" Disc Priest, Ret Paladin, Wind Walker).
  • All Weapon enchants are "BANNED" with the exception of Heartsong and Spellpower for "HEALERS ONLY". Scope enchants are also "BANNED"!
  • Each team can switch any player out for their "4TH PLAYER" at any time in the tournament. If the "4TH PLAYER" makes the comp illegal you will be docked a match out of the Best of 3 games. Unless this happens in the finals you will still be docked a match.
  • JUMPS or Illegal Flyhacking! Any team caught flyhacking or jumping to a place that is unreachable by the other team will be DQ'ed!
  • Each Comp must have atleast 1 Healer 2 dps that are not hybrid or 1healer 1hybrid and 1 none hybrid class.
  • Each team may only have 1 stealth class "Rdruids count as a stealth class".
  • BREWMASTER monks, and FERAL Druids are "BANNED"!
  • If your team runs Enhance your enhance must run "WHITE WEAPONS"! Enhance can run with a disc priest and any other healers but only can only use White Weapons.
  • Teams must be on to play by the start of tourney. If we call for your team to play and your team isnt ready in 5mins your team will be Dq'ed from that match and you will go to the losers bracket! Teams that do not show up at all by the start of tourney will be dq'ed out of the tournament.
Druids:
  • Shred and Ferocious Bite are not allowed in "CAT FORM"!
  • Restoration Druids count as a stealth class in the ARENA.

Should plan this for AFTER 7.0, that way we can play under the new templates and dispense with all these garbage rules.
 
I added a new part of the thread! If you're looking to be in the tourney but dont have a team put your Armory of the toon you'd like to play on and list your Btag and I will put you under Free Agents :)

Which is why I suggested waiting til after 7.0 to do this. The rules are too cumbersome to make a viable/useful team that's different than all the other teams. Might as well just call it 'RMP' tournament because that's about the only viable comp allowed. If you wait til 7.0, you've got new balancing, new abilities, better talents, and all the things you made rules about stop mattering because the game already does what it needs to make games fair.

In 7.0:
- No more stats from gear.
- No more OP enchants.
- No more imbal specs (BM, Feral)
- Much better overall design for each class, with more complete toolkits for pvp.

Sounds like a much better environment for a tournament to me. You'll probably get more support for it, too.
 
lmaox why not have more than one tourny ie one now for prelegion and one later in legion (and from the opening post it sounds like more events/tournys/thingymabobbers are in mind)
