2 vs 2 29 FINAL Livestreaming NOW!!!!

Two things:

1) Tapout and Livingforce are tremendous opponents and my people respect them heaps.

2) No one is complaining about the tourney, we're more than glad it was put together in the first place. Big ups to Tap and his bro for making it happen, cap'n.

Lastly, sure we'll accept a challenge to a grudge match of sorts, with prizes or not. Oh well, don't get my 40k gold for tabard, life will go on, not a big deal. Might be away for new year's but we'll have to see, I'm sure we can dodge :p and reschedule for a new day.

This post actually offends me considering me and Push have been fighting to keep the trolls off this forum for quite a few months now. You know I could actually report your post for slander/harrassment? I'd like you to browse my post history and give me SUREFIRE proof of the "trolling" you're talking about.

Trolls like you don't deserve a chance. You've probably already fudged the only proof there ever was. You're going down like a Salem Witch you despicable demon.

I really didn't want to post anymore about this event, but I felt obligated as a service to the twinking community.

1. Watch every single match carefully, and you'll notice that the initial matches were completely decided by RNG. Tapout and his Bro won those matches where Mongoose procs were prevelent, and lost the matches where they weren't.

2. In every game, Tapout's strategy was to tunnel the priest the entire time with zero defensive play or concern for his teammate. Like a true mongoloid, he completely ignored what was going on around him, while his bro sat back and pocket healed all day.

3. The last three matches played without Mongoose weapons showcase just how bad these guys are at the game. Without OP enchants giving them the offensive pressure to force the other team to play defensively until something dies, they just flounder about while they get out played.

4. The Mongoose enchant is in a class of it's own as far as enchants go. There is no equivalent enchant for any other class, grandfathered or not, in any pre-60 bracket. Rogues benefit the most from it, and being able to dual wield means twice as many chances to proc in the same amount of time. Being able to dump energy on flurry of attacks (hemo spam) or a big finisher (evis) when Mongoose procs, gives rogues a huge advantage in this bracket. Monks can't get mongoose, druids can only wield it on one weapon, and shamans have 8-10 seconds of downtime between each burst attack. Of course, this is all assuming you have a grandfathered weapon to put it on in the first place.

In a pug environment where you have a 10v10, you have players of variable skill/gear levels. One player with mongoose on his weapons isn't going to have a very big impact against a big pool of players. In a 2v2 environment, the impact Mongoose has is completely different.

5. This 'tournament event' was never about competition or fairness. Every single match was about two non factors with barely any presence in the bracket, getting a chance to play their characters on their own terms. No thought was put forth regarding a proper tournament structure or rules, so no effort was put forth into providing a balanced format for anyone who might want to participate.

It's good that Tapout and his Bro eventually decided to finish the final rounds, even though it never should have taken 3 weeks to do so. Not being able to finish the final round on the day of the tournament should have been an automatic forfeit, like it would in any tournament which had a REAL rules structure. It's admirable that they decided to honor a rematch under more fair conditions, even though they decided NOT to include any prizes (even if they weren't the original stakes). However, this event was a farce, and it's one that no twink bracket needs.

TL; DR: Please do the 29 bracket and the rest of the twink community a favor and refrain from hosting anymore events.

Thanks.

Or maybe priest boomkin just counters priest rogue real hard, and the GF'd mongeese were a balancing factor?

I don't think that would be the case against a good priest/rogue team that knows how to play defensively and control the fight. Tunneling the guy you know is squishy isn't the best strategy if you want to win against good players. Especially when you constantly LoS your healer and get yourself killed.
