Any suggestions on spec, gear, stats, or Legion Legos I should be using? I do lots of Island Expos and Normal BFA Dungeons and can solo it all pretty quickly. Just wondering if there is something I can be doing better enchant wise or gear to optimize my level of play. I love world pvp aswell around the Horde areas but once I go over to Alliance side all the mobs scale to 120 and fuck me up. Is this normal even for 110s doing world pvp?
 
The 2 Piece from Antorus that make your eye beam hit for 40% extra + the legendary helm instead of sephuz. Thats pretty much all you need
 
Theres azerite traits that increase eyebeam damage too, might wanna look into those.

Supposedly getting nerfed next patch somewhat tho, but should still be strong and not just ridiculous...

Yes. They keep the health of your level scaling but become 120. Its retarded and blizz should feel bad.
 
Ur ilvl is basically higher than mine but i think you don't see the concept of the DH twink yet. We are heavily based around AOE dmg. Check my armory link for example: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/ragnaros/Analizis

I am stacking mastery so i can increase my eye beam dmg by a lot. Also i'm running with 2x Siphoning so i can pick another talent instead of Soul Rending. Basically 2x100 leech from the 2 siphoning enchant gives me 18% leech which is more than enough. This 18% leech heals me sometimes 100k+ after a single eye beam channel which is 2 times higher than my max hp.

Also you should try to pick azerite pieces with the trait called Eyes of Rage. You can stack the trait's dmg component. The cooldown reduce component is not stacking!

Also Immolation Aura + Arcane Torrent is the easiest way to get fury when u pull dozens of mobs.

So basically with this heavy aoe based build you can pull literally everything without dying. Trail of Ruins (with leech) can keep you alive if you are getting chased by a lots of mobs but you want to pull even more.

The more mobs you can pull the better your aoe and survivability will become.

Also there's a huge downside of this. If u get interrupted or cc'd during the early seconds of your Eye Beam channel then you'll probably die. That's why i am picking Netherwalk (plus it increases my mobility as well). With a lots of targets you can survive without Eye Beam if you use Blade Dance plus Chaos Nova. Then you can reset Eye Beam CD cause Chaos Nova has a 30% chance / target to summon lesser soul fragments which reduces your Eye Beam if you have Eyes of Rage traits.

I'm not sure if anyone will read this but i tried to write down my experience with DH twink so far.
 
Thank you Aresenal for the help. Like I mention before I like World PvP and I think the focus on Eye Beam would hinder my ability to make 120s cry in open world?

I think blizzard bein a shitty PvP company will hinder it more. You will lose more often than not simply due to level difference, and it will get even worse after the coming patch when they increase baseline 120 gear ilvl.
 
For World PvP, make sure there are mobs around and you're pretty much invincible. Kill a mob, get healed from fragment. That being said, you may end up in a stalemate against a 120 who knows what they're doing.

In my experience the best PvP twinks are boomkins and priests. Havoc has some crazy survivability though, due to kiting, and mob heals.

Anyone who's not a noob can interrupt every one of your eye beams, so don't take the longer eye beam talent, the eye beam damage azerite trait, or raddons. The eye beam grants haste azerite trait though is really nice, kind of like an OP trinket.
 
I have 3x Furious Gaze and with bloodlust i have 195% haste without stacking haste. So rapind is right, that trait is op as well.
 
Worth mentioning, since you're stacking Furious Gaze arsenal is that there's a GCD reduction cap with haste. I think it's 0.75s which is typically achieved with 100% haste. So haste above 100% has less value than it does under 100%. At least that's the way it used to be and I haven't heard of any changes. Just one Furious Gaze buff gets you probably around 70-80% or more if you're a decently geared twink (even focusing on mastery), so stacking them might not be optimal. I personally have 2 sets I use. 2 x Eyes or Rage (ilvl 300) + Raddon's for islands, and Furious Gaze + Eyes of Rage + Thirsting (scroll helmet) for BGs. The Eyes of Rage is probably not optimal with the shorter Eye Beam I run in BGs though, but I'm stuck with it because I want to always use ilvl 300 pieces.

Also worth noting, you can only get this Eye Beam trait mix horde side. Ally DHs got ripped off IMO (I'm working on an Ally one right now and the Az traits aren't great).

I'd be interested to know what other DH twinks are liking for PvP traits. Thirsting seems solid, as does Revolving Blades, and maybe one Furious Gaze. I was hoping I could stack Revolving Blades ally side, but it doesn't seem doable at a 300 ilvl. I don't like Seething much due to it being a buildup trait.

I am just wondering what the difference between 110 and 111 twinks is (new here obviously) what is better for soloing dungeons/islands 110 or 111?
 
You can get Chest and Shoulder Eyes of Rage on Alliance leaving you with Raddon's for the head. It is utterly disgusting and OP.

@ OP, since you're a 111 DH, get the BFA Alchemey Trinket Tincture of Something, Something). It's ridonkulous.

@Edmuir there's no Ally quest shoulders with Eyes of Rage, so you'd have to substitute a 285 piece for it. Not a big deal since you don't really need it for much outside of mob grinding anyways, and that's pretty low risk. I just like the min/max of getting ideal traits on 300 gear. You can actually get both horde side, and a second shoulder with Furious Gaze as well, all at ilvl 300 (last quests).

Shoulder Eyes of Rage for Alliance drops from the final boss in Freehold. It's a 285 piece.

110 twinks are in their own pvp bracket, so they do really well in BGs. 111s are at the bottom of the 111-119 bracket, so they are relatively less powerful than a 119 twink. Also they scale up to 119 in BGs and lose legendaries, so you'll need other pvp gear slots if you want to BG at 111.

110 twinks have slightly better scaling than 111 twinks. 111 twinks get the full value from BfA gems/enchants, so gemslots are much more useful/important at 111. This generally makes up for the 110 better scaling.

111 twinks have access to the tincture mentioned earlier, as well as an alchemy trinket IIRC.

111 twinks have access to crafted gear. This gear is NOT BiS - both 110s and 111s want mythic antorus gear (titanforged/sockets/tertiary stats). But it is better than quest gear for when you first start out.

I'll note that since 110s and 111s have virtually the exact same BiS gear - a point in the favor of 110s is that you can always still level to 111 later, where a 111 can only go to 119/max level. At some point (next xpac prepatch maybe?), the 110 pvp bracket will get rolled into the 111-119 bracket and they'll lose their current BG capabilities. At that point a 110 can either remain at 110 for the best secondary scaling, look at 111 to get better BfA enchants/gems, or go to 119 to stay on top of the BG scene. But presumably lots will be changing at that point with a new prepatch, and it might screw things up.

I don't remember, can 110s queue for LFR/Heroic dungeons as well? Its a pretty minor point either way.
