A while ago I made a soloing thread in the 80-89 forum for people interested in PvE twinking. It was quite active so I figured I'd make one for this bracket too, in the hope there are others who enjoy forging their own progression paths through the content.

Killed a couple of 110 Demon Hunters in my Class Hall, felt like a Raid.

Just tanked him for a while, when the Buff got up high enough I've just got out of melee range to lose aggro and he took over the others ^^ (9 Demon Hunters where hitting him at that time and I was the last DH standing *g

For other people, I'd be interested in seeing people just add there ilvl next to it just to see what sort of variance we get between classes doing the same thing.

101 Blood DK with 759 equipped (forgot to swap to good shoulders, still had the Manaseeker BoA's on lol) and 762 Wpn at Rank 6. Just solo'd a Felhide Gargantuan in Faronaar. I was hoping to be able to skin it and get the Felhide Quest even though it's actually a 110 World Quest but nope. I nearly died multiple times and it took forever but I was able to kill it. For those who don't know, these Felstalker Demons are 110 with 5196 K Health, i.e. 5.2 Million.

I did nelth's lair last night on a 750 BM hunter with no artifact relics or traits, 4-5 835 boe and the rest 700 welfare WoD PvP leftovers, and it was pretty easy (skipped the 2nd boss tho).

edit- the 835 are all dropping steadily in price on the few servers i play, dont know if it's a global thing, but it's a promising trend.

Just solo'd Kazzak on my 101 Blood DK with 773 Equipped (I remembered to swap my Shoulders this time lol). There were a few dodgy parts but I just stood there and took his dmg the entire time without moving. I did have Tormmok with me for a tiny bit of added DPS. Unf for me even with Bonus roll I only got Felblight, no Trinket. Only managed 133K DPS so it was a long fight.

EDIT: Also, wasn't buffed up other than 125 Stat food and the 50 Str Augment Rune, didn't use Drums, didn't use a Potion, didn't use Garrison Ability. Mostly because I forgot to do all those since I didn't even know if I could solo him with my gear not being as uber as Aleobins

Which route did you take for artifact traits on your DH? I dont know of any way to see it via the armory or anything.

I literally have no clue as to the mechanics of that fight, i always just tag/help others killing him. Last night i lasted a while with a few 835 pieces and zero artifact progress on a new DH, but he kept hitting me for over 500K too many times. People always showed up once i started killing him tho, so i got 2 rolls of gold out of it.

I can say on my 101 DK with 773 equipped and basically no Buffs/Lust used it was dodgy. His largest attack hit me for 473K every time. I had to spam Abilities to self Heal within seconds of that Ability (He emotes "Now you die" or something to that effect). All the rest of his Attacks/Abilities were insignificant damage. In fact Death Stroke's Shield would often times keep me at max Health for ~8-10 seconds. To help, my Armor was at ~39% in that Gear and I used every single Defensive CD I had whenever it was up and I needed it.

Vengeance DH should be even easier to kill him due to even greater self Healing than DK (with comparable Gear). As for path to take with Artifact weapon I would suggest heading Left first until you get at least Fueled by Pain. The point of that Rank isn't that the bonus Health of Metamorphosis helps you out, it's that when it procs (and it's pretty often) it generates a lot of extra Pain. Hell one single Soul Cleave on my 99 can Heal me for well over 500K if it's after a Soul Carver and a couple Shears.

If you're still not healing up as fast as you'd like push to the Right over to Charred Warblades, then stop. Head right after that (from start) until you get to Painbreaker so that you take reduced damage after each fragment you consume.

The largest hits i took were around 900-950k or something. But not a big deal if you always save at least 30 pain for a soul cleave. With my gear now the larger soul fragments crit heal me for ~1.1mio each. Always take Fallout in your 2nd Tier as a talent. More Metas helps your dps and self-healing. My weapon is rank 13 atm.

Still sad that we are losing AoE Fear and (this really makes me mad) Empowered Wards. Was such a good dps increase and spell dmg reduction.

This was what I was trying to explain but not all picturesque. Also, how the fuck were you being hit for 900K? His largest attack hits my DK for 473K with only 39% Armor (pretty sure it's a physical hit). Your Gear when you did him was a tad higher than mine when I did, you should have somewhat higher Armor than me.

@Aelobin I call hax, only once saw you dip to like 97% Health lmao... Nah jk I know how well geared that DK is compared to us plebs, nice job.

I didnt get a DH anywhere comfortable to solo Kazzak yet, but i bumped up my 101 frost DK to 102 and got the blood artifact over the last week. At rank 6 weapon and 770-something ilvl it was a pretty easy solo (leorajh follower). I got very low on health a few times, but didnt really feel in danger. With a couple more artifact traits it should be pretty solid.

No buffs or consumables, i'm too lazy for that stuff. I do have 17% avoidance from one of the 835 pieces, however.

edit- i did kill kazzak with a 101 veng DH last weekend, possibly could have solo'd it, but there were people jumping in for help whenever anyone tried to kill him.
