US [Bug?] Anyone else getting these weird damage multipliers?

I also just re-read the Blue post and I have to admit a 'my bad' moment. I, like too many Murrikans, jumped on the instant rage bandwagon after reading 1 sentence instead of the whole thing. It does in fact appear that the negative Damage Multiple should effect 1-39 and not just 1-20. There's so many (1-20) references in that post that I can see why many of us jumped to conclusions. The out-of-combat part for 1-19's is meh anyway. I have no real issue with them reducing that as even at 10 with ~2K Health mine could just about insta regen to full, which is just silly.

Also, for those saying this is a PvP Balance path, it only appears to be a Questing/Leveling "Balance", nothing else or they would've touched on Tank/Healing as well, instead of just Damage.

I'm starting to think this was an underhanded attempt to force F2P's to buy and sub to WoW since the negative Damage Modifier ONLY effects LvL 20 of 20-29 Bracket it's going to make 20's harder to compete than now even. It's sad to see how they gutted LvL 1 Twinks, as they seem hit harder than 10 even.

This move plus permanently disabling all Set Bonuses from Vanilla > MoP makes me also think Blizz is doing everything they can to make Players hate old Content so we'll rush out and spend $60 for instant 100's to experience the new Legion Content.
nah man
What next, Raid mechanics in the old dungeons - lol.
I wish...

Yes, this probably wasn't meant as a PvP balancing patch, but rather a dps balance path in general. It might, however, serve as a PvP balance fix, since damage, especially melee dmg, in the lower brackets are through the roof

try unequip your gear, versatility changes the multiplier
Has Versatility changed as part of this hotfix?
Ok, so I'm inside an arena and using my Defending Champion which gives me 1% Vers, I am 101% multiplier. I take it off and use my Mark of Tyranny and my multiplier dissapears, so I am 100% (or back to normal) I guess inside the arena.
If Vers still increases damage as before and now increases the multiplier inside a bg or arena, isn't that like 2 bites at the cherry? It's double the effectiveness using Vers? That doesn't sound right does it?
Luckily I have a Vers chanted set in my bank, but was wondering if this could be confirmed by anyone else?

Lol WTF? I'm 99%.

Can someone scroll over Vers to see if it still increases DPS and Healing? I can't work out why we get an increase in DPS from Vers and then an increased multiplier on top of it. Sucks bad as it's gimped my favoured Haste set ups
Still does increase. Mines at 14.14%

Seems like a trip is warranted back to the Theramore test dummy.............

Gonna run the tests with both Vers and Haste sets and see what's going on. Seems strange they are trying to reduce DPS yet increase the multiplier, or maybe it's an issue they haven't thought about as generally low level toons don't have Vers on their gear? Maybe they haven't accounted for it or it reacts weird with it. Got me beat, I'm sure Blizz know what they're doing :p

Edit : Lol what a joke. Let's reduce DPS by increasing %'s on Str classes. Something's broke bad....

Only thing that could make me laugh harder is if I see a BM Monk with an increased % to their DPS!!

What do you mean?
Well Blizz's intention is to reduce DPS below lvl 20 right?
So why are there level 20's with 129% multipliers. Isn't that an increase in DPS?
That's what I'm saying, something is not right as they haven't achieved what they set out to do in all cases. There will have to be another hot fix down the track to correct it. Well that's my opinion anyhow.

First of all it's not just 1-20, but 1-40 :)
And I think some classes had positive damage multipliers prior to the nerf, which might explain the positiv numbers still.

I dont know why they let versatility increase the multiplier though. But maybe the multiplier increases with versatility because your dps increases as well?
