I'm not just referring to gf'd headenchants. I think all gf'd enchants and gear sets should be banned together (bar lfh for said reason) or none banned at all

We can have a rule, but you're right in that we cannot check ourselves if someone attempts to do this. The rule is in place incase an instance where this is happening and someone proves that it is going on one way or another meaning that we can act on it accordingly. If it's not in the post to be against the rules, it would be deemed legal.

No, because if we did that the name of the tournament would be irrelevant. We could rename it to be "The Heirloom Cup 2016" and it be more accurate. This whole tournament is founded on the concept of twinking and it roots, banning GFed gear that isn't game breaking goes against the spirit of the competition. The gear that can change the whole build of a character has been banned already and we see it as sufficient enough to provide the balance we aim for.

No. That makes no sense what so ever, every piece of twînk gear is game breaking? You trying to tell me that items such a Inferno robe and seal of sylvanis don't give people huge advantages? Gf'd gear is a part of Twínking but it's not like it's a huge part and personally i'd value the competitive integrity over "the spirit of the competition" and "the spirit of the competition" should be aimed at showing us who the best team is by making even, fair rules

This community wouldn't exist without the concept of being able to min/max gear, have numerous sets for different situations. If people want to play in an environment where each players gear is identical, where the game developers themselves strive to create balance in that sense, i suggest people play level 100 PvP.

We appreciate the feedback and opinions on the matter but unfortunately this area of the rules is not up for debate.

Oh yeah you're right I forgot people are unable to min/max their gear without gf'd gear. You also forgot that allowing gfd gear isn't going to mean people that don't have will have it

They try to call this professional but I don't see how this wouldn't happen in a real tourney.
Eg. Imagine in Csgo playing a tourney where NA teams AKs do 20 more damage per bullet than the EU teams AKs, how would this display the best team and upload competitive integrity?

EU Teams have it hard enough playing with 100+ ping, Don't see why they should have to fight players with gear they can't even fcking obtain on top of this

Please Blackout, come on man, how is inferno robe not OP ? How is the +13 sp chant not OP ? You see ? Some people will be advantageous, because they have pieces of gear that cannot be obtained anymore in any possible way that doesn't involve paying for a character in Cash. EDIT : Which is completely against Blizzard's Terms.
 
leaving items such as inferno robe and jutes are like sure what the fuck if u guys are stubborn enough to not change it but leaving 13 sp enchant still legal is just plain fuckíng stupid

head enchants - ban em unless its the old arcunum or w/e (8sts/agi/etc, 100hp)
gfd gear - stop being a little bitch about a nigga having inferno or jutes.
sp to bracers - who gives a fuck, if its that big of a deal ban em

and i didnt even bother reading the opening post (i got directed here by Pizza aka fuckboy laughing at everyone crying) so i dont know all the rules, im just an anybody fighter; that being said if niggers want to ddos then just shut the whole tourny down that weekend and rescedule for the following weekend. make 1 nigga ruin it for everyone that weekend. next week comes around and start all over. then there will be kids saying 'well we have lifes and cant field my ateam squad of 10 2 weeks in a row'. oh well bro, you signed up to fight and that was part of the rules. eventually with the community being so small the faggots ddos will be singled out and them ruining shit for everyone will have everyone cheering them on and telling them how much they appreciated wasting their weekend.
