What really grinds my gears?

1300hp players trying to fc

That's something that really bothers me. A single player can lose an entire game with that crap.

2x in 1 game last night, we had players with no business running flags pick up the flag. Now, it's not just that they don't have the gear/mitigation to handle the job, it's the fact that they just go hard in the paint and jump/run right through 60% or better of the enemy team without waiting on help.

In that game, a shammy grabbed the flag. I was with him offhealing and killing the rogues that tried to keep the shammy from leaving base. Now we killed 3 rogues, we're full health on top of the ally tunnel. There are 5-6 alliance waiting down below. Their FC just went up their tunnel. Had the FC waited a minute for 6-7 of our teamates that were coming towards us before he jumped, I could have had time to go around the fence and take out the EFC. INSTEAD, he jumps down and dies almost instantly, despite my 1300hp shield on him and 1 decent offheal. Since I had to jump to try to keep him up, I was next to die almost instantly instead of being able to run up the tunnel to kill the EFC. Obviously they cap and win 1-0. We had worked so hard to overcome the odds in that game too. I was the only 24 against 4 alliance 24s, 2 rogues and 2 hunters.

Yeah Drayner I feel your pain.

Having 1300 hp players taking the flag insteed of let's say me with 2700 hp in dps gear. I just don't get what people think with?
Sure I guess if they want an achievement on their account... But not with 1300 hp. It's like one mortal strike and then you're in execute range. I just don't get it sometimes.

"No let me cap" - All players below 1.3k HP. So annoying

Annoying to the part where they lose the flag and get one shot by a rogue / hunter. And then qq in chat?
The 1.3k hp number was just a example.

I swear to god there are about fifty 900-1300 health rogues who just pick up the flag and run it graveyard...

They're all BR /sigh...

Add spice to the games I suppose. Frustrating if it causes a loss though.

It often does in my experience, since I solo queue 98% of the time.

When swifty joins ally instead of horde. But it's ok because we farmed him. In front of 3000 people. fast forward to 2:34:00 to see swifty's introduction to 24 twinking courtesy of Holy Crit and Brainwash. I'll be honest here. I don't have any clue why people watch streams of pugs, but really... what's up with this guy? He seems like a liability on BGs. He keeps doing other shit... maybe because his team is being camped by a 5 man, but still. Is he always tabbing out and reading messages instead of mashing buttons to help his team?

Interesting Topic, I'll stick to the twink aspect of it F2P's crying when I beat them in a duel because I'm a P2P SP with enchanted gear , People telling me Shadow is OP (Oh really now) And Shamans

Maintenance during wsg cta...........

"Scheduled maintenance" as well. Although I didn't get the usual notice at start up. I'd only been on for an hour or so and I see "server shutdown in 15:00" after mucking about getting Lunar Achieves.

When people say we lose before the game even starts.

I second that for sure. I was on the horde side last night solo pugging on my 21 rogue and encountered 5 man 24 teams over and over. Hell, I went 8 games before we got a win. Despite this, I kept going and kept trying. I probably looked like an idiot to the teams I faced because I would try to return flags 1v5... I had to try, nobody else was trying. :(

Anyhow, game 9... It was me solo queued on my 21 rogue and another 24, some spanish speaking players, and some good F2Ps in a game. Across the field, we saw 5 24s from the same server and a random 24 too. Their 24s consisted of a 24 Pally with 4100hp, 24 Resto Druid, 24 Boomkin, 24 Hunter, and 2x 24 rogues. Before the game even started, there was an afk or 2 and a couple, "we're fucked" comments in /BG.

We ended up beating them 3-0 in pretty quick order.

Surprised at how easily we won, I armoried their players and the only toons that were geared very nice were the 2 rogues (which gave us the most issues) and the pally. The pally was not hard to solo in our flag room and I was able to 1 shot their resto druid a couple of times.

Bottom Line: Don't give up until you are being farmed in your GY. You never know.

PS. I won't divulge the names of the 24s we faced or their guild name out of courtesy. :)
