arms wariors strength vs crit?

Strength is shit and BAR has better top end damage. That's why BAR is better. End of discussion. Strength is worthless you roll Prot or Prot Paladin.....or lolRet.

Bloodied Arcanite Reaper - 8stre 12sta 8crit, 69.92-104.88dmg, 23.00DPS

Reef Axe - 12stre 8sta, 68-103dmg, 23.85DPS

Too bad Reef Axe speed isnt 3.80 :(

Btw test with my Human Warrior with strength stacking gear(which is like -2strength from BiS strength stacking) on northshire/theramore dummys, with BAR:

1k - 1.1k MS, 1.1k - 1.2k Slam crits with enrage
2.6k - 2.7k exeqt crits with enrage

Fdruid does the highest crit. :)

Imo just try and max out stre + crit, going too much either way is just gonna end up gimping you

alchemy and pots.

wild riders doesnt scale and he went with the 4 str > 1 crit, I know he has Wild rider aswell tho.

ty
but may opinion
stam+crit>str+crit
90% of time im play "solo" , no pocket healer

and
wild riders+boots of the hero>Slippers of Unturned Loyalties + Gloves of the Hero

sorry for my broken English

Well, I decided to go with Jenny's because of the fact that I valued strength higher than 5 stam (since I've got both LFH and AGM) and the extra armor is a nice addition aswell :) And this is the set I use in PUGs aswell as in premades :) Kinda inactive atm but I'll be back whenever endgame bores me out :)

The key to good warrior gear is balance.

In other words there isn't a stat that's worth pumping up and thus deminishing other stats such as armor,HP,hit, str.

If you drop your CRIT you will hit for more but crit less ...same as when you drop your STR-you will crit more but hit less.....Thus balance is the key. Also keeping in mind your survivability with HP and armor.

As for all the crit pumpers it's like this: Crit in random crit generator flows into these certain levels,an example : if your crit is between 22-25 % you will crit way more then the number diff suppose to having 18-20%.Just like how if your crit is above 30% you will crit for way way more then the mathematical 5% diff suppose to having 25% crit,so crit flows in certain waves.....so if you are stacking it make sure you go into a higher area of %.

Cheers.

How do you know it's between these numbers? Like 22-25 instead of say, 21-24 or 23-26? I'm curious =D

I only know the basic concept of say, 25% = 1/4 hit, making 24/26 not really worth it. However 20 seems a lot more valuable than 18 due to 1/5 hit.

These numbers are over 90% accurate. It's a matter of experimenting, you put together crit gear and some buffs and then you notice the diff in next fiew days of playing and vice versa with other stats.....also it's pretty much the same on higher lvls and other classes....PVE and PVP .It has been like that since the beginning of WoW.

Small example...in TBC BM hunters had low Crit and the diff between having 25% crit and 28% was massive, the diff was way more then 3 %....now math says it is 3 % but in real it was 5-8 %.

Cheers.

Never heard about this, do you have other evidence besides anecdotal ones or maybe a link to it being discussed/explained further? It sounds rather odd to me, but you never know with blizzard I guess.

Were these experiments logged and tested by multiple people or simply by experience / memory?

Also, as far as battle grounds go, wouldn't crit scale inversely to how many holy paladins there are on the other team? =P
