Why we hate 24's..

This thread is purely to outline the reason why people have a current irritation with 24's:

-As a 24 player you have paid for the game allowing you to gain advantage over others that haven't.
-Blizzard listens to its paying costumers, we aren't paying, and it is a profit organization.

Problem:

-Right now I'm entering the forum on numerous occasions, where people are continuously complaining about "How unfair" it is, when real problems that are cheating players: like 'Multiboxers' who exploit unlike a person who has decided just to pay for the game. Or something more real, like limiting the amount of Resto druids/hpala's that are joining the Bg's at ~5 a group.

Solution:

-It is hard to gain advantage over something which you can complain about whole day and the problem will never change, if you make a petition something might, just might happen. Otherwise, no money no change. Many players are saying "yes, yes... but look if we leave Blizzard will lose many of their players", but to put it frank, they don't care.

In Conclusion:

YES, YES, YES we f2p players must have our own bracket but don't forget how the game will change for both sides. Yes one side will lose all their 24 players but so will your faction so on a basis nothing will change. Stop complaining. Suggest something more 'real' as I suggested and maybe you can gain their respect, don't talk about the money.

"he who pays the piper calls the tune"

and why would 24s give a fuck?

And you presume to speak for all f2ps? :p

Fine then 'we' being the complainers of 24's being unfair in our bracket. By all means debate the issue. I do feel that I have covered all my points, it's a start :)

Sortof reminds me of this - http://i.qkme.me/3s5bsp.jpg

Like most other things at trail cap L20, the shared bgs with 24s is supposed to be a carrot designed to get you to upgrade to P2P. I highly doubt bliz will ever fracture the bracket to F2P-only and P2P xp locked players.

Very true... unfortunately.

how would blizz benefit making a bracket only for f2ps? doesnt make sense from a financial point of view to do this.

Trial are there to give new players taste of wow not to play it for ever, people who QQ about 24s need to accept that they are there and move on OR buy the sub and do something about it. Moaning about a situation you can solve makes the who idea of complaining invaild.

This right here is 100% correct. We as f2ps aren't entitled to anything. Stop acting like you are when you know you aren't at all. Complaining about a situation that you can't change is irrelevant and meaningless. If you really have a problem with it, quit f2p or upgrade. It's as simple as that.

This bracket doesn't belong to us and we certainly don't deserve our own bracket, this is simply the bracket we were put in because of our level restrictions.
If it really bothers you that much or anyone else for that matter, just do yourself a favor and quit. The 24s aren't going anywhere and they don't have to go anywhere. They have more than a right to be here than any f2p simply because they put their own money towards this game.

blizz doesn't care about the 20-24 bracket

I hate 24s for the simple fact that they can be complete morons and barely know how to play their class at all and in alot of scenarios still beat a really good F2P. Knowing that any 24 you see of your same class will more then likely be able to 1v1 you no matter of their skill is very annoying atleast in my case

that's exactly how ppl felt about cata hunters, did it stop you playing yours?

I seriously thank you and others for following my posts so intently and replying with "yu plaid a cata huntard. uz r bad" everytime it seems.

I played a cata hunt and got shit for it. So now that it's MoP can you and everyone else please STFU? I got enough in cata and I know I'm easy prey since I voice my opinion so much but it gets really old when you bring something up everytime from almost 4+ months ago...

Me playing a lv 20 cata hunt has nothing to do with my post. I put bad hunters in their place and kept healers on their toes. Most dps were easy to kill but there was no good F2P dps (besides warrior) that a backpeddling huntards should be able to beat if the other class is any good. I'm sorry you must have been been beat by bad hunt after bad hunt in cata but I wish you luck with your priest reroll and hopefully with how much you've voiced your opinion about me I can see if you have anything to back it up.

Same way every purely F2P game does, by selling those players something other than game boxes and subscriptions. Blizzard are just too stupid/lazy to implement microtransactions for convenience/vanity items, when they could be raking it in from a completely untapped market.

They could implement things like these:

  • Mail between characters on the same account.
  • Purchase only access to the AH.
  • Higher gold cap.
  • Removal of trade skill cap (so it's capped by character level).
  • Access to more character slots (trials could be limited to less than 10 per realm).
  • Realm transfers.
  • Transmogrification could be locked out for trials, until an upgrade is purchased.

There's no end of ways they could make money from F2P, and put that towards developing it. Why don't they do that?

Blizzard doesn't care about the game at all.

All they care about is milking the franchise for as long as possible with as close to zero effort put into developing it.

Why do I hate the huge majority of 24s? Because they're supporting that continued non-development of the game, the worsening state of PvP, and continuing the stereotype that the WoW twinking community is a group of dbags who think things like griefing, exploiting and pay-to-win are things to be proud of.

The few who don't act like that still don't get my respect, because by playing at 24 they're supporting the ones that do.
