^_^ hello everyone im just getting started with my F2PTwink life and i was doing some work/reading on understanding wow pvp tactic/strategy and how to get my UI(addon's/macros) and keybindings logically set up
the original reason i started writing this thread was to ask if this was a valid place to use as a main guid for setting up a pleasant and competitive wow pvp experience it seems to be a bit outdated and i was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or links that might benefit the speed i can learn pvp and feel comfortable controlling my toon in-game
this is the guide(http://www.pvptutorial.com). before i start seriously listening to this guy(who quit years ago) if possible i would like the opinions of the players here who are much more experienced the myself(i have only bin playing for a few days and have never tried any sort of pvp as of yet) i have bin reading on wow for over a week now and am having trouble starting to comfortable play because i know that i have no idea what im doing and don't plan on running around aimlessly like a chicken with my head cut off >.< long story short is that i want a good UI set up and to know proper key binding methods and techniques(where and how to place simple key binds that wont confuse the $h*t out of me
) before i can start to Twink a toon or even learn basic pvp skills and ways to practice being efficient at whatever roll i happen to decide to practice pvp on first
note to any potential people willing to help me out...
i have absolutely zero skillz with most things computer related though im getting better(i have Curse and have downloaded the f2p chat
) the more i pour my life into it lol.
Here are my PC spec's
(if anyone needs to know what kind of computers i have in order to recommend the correct addons/pack's)
OS:Windows 7
Browser used for wow:Google chrome(pleas let me know if chrome is optimal for running wow for pvp)
my laptop computer spec's can be found here my current wow setup
I also have a 15 inch Sony VAIO(MODEL PCG-6X1L) i use for on the go type $h*t but i think it could be to small a screen for pvp but again i dont know much about online gaming in general -.- sadly i have no clue how to find the specs for this laptop and believe me i have tried lol. i wonder how the graphics card and performance will work for pvp on both laptops ^.^ im in need of a collage lvl computer course for the basic's of gaming theory lol.
I assume ill be using a light weight setup
any help determining my laptop's ability to use addons well would be very helpful indeed
last but not least... macros are a foreign language to me as is most of the wow language/terminology iv bin trying so hard to decipher for the last week lol. ^.^ i would like to know what peoples opinion on macro "use and abuse" is and if they are as helpful or as hurtful as i have hear they can be???
P.S. im sorry for my blog like post/thread or whatever you want to call this mess of words above lol. its just the way i am i guess i never intended for this to be half as long lol. my apology's for taking up your time and hope that you will relate to my post in some way and find it within you to try and help a Pearson in need(me
) willing to learn about the game(WoW) that i cant wait to beginning to really understand and become competitive at!
