1) Professions leveling guide

Ally side

1) Your going to want to start out with mining and herb. Get enough bars to level up ur blacksmithing untill u can make a thick bronze dart (KEEP ALL GREEN GEAR U MAKE(you can disenchant for faster enchanting lvling)). once you get enough bars then abandon mining and pick up blacksmithing.

2) you will then abandon blacksmithing and get enchanting . level enchanting up to 90 so that u can get ur +1 damage enchants on weps, 1 agi to bracers, 1 res/10 armor to cloak, health to chest, and i think thats all. (you will want at least 6 of all these enchants on vellums in ur bank for later wep sets u want to experiment with and stuff( trust me ).

3) abandone enchanting and pick up either alchemy or inscription. just a mater of preferance of whether u want buffs for ur whole team or buffs for just u with speed pots and such.

/cancelaura [modifier] stealth

focus step and kick- this macro will shadow step u to your focused target and kick them with one button. you will also keep ur current target.

/cast [target=focus] Shadowstep

/cast [target=focus] Kick

mash this while looking for stealthies

#show sap

/cleartarget

/targetenemyplayer

/cast sap

Pvp Tips

  • Rogue: Play utility, save shadowstep for critical moments(usually kicks on secondary targets, aka healers) - Evade
  • use efficent keybinds(don't be a loldifferentplaystyle dumbass) - Evade
  • When in mid pursuing efc, It is usually best to sit on healers(notably priests) - Evade
  • don't get fake casted, it is pretty easy to learn habits of some players easily. - Evade
  • When using kick, don't always kick it at ~70%, switch it about. - Evade
  • If the heal isn't critical, then don't bother using kick - Evade
  • don't open without a set goal in mind(go for an efc kill, finish off a critically endangered player, or sit on healers) - Evade
  • Rogues should save Shadowstep until after they have opened on their target. They cannot see you coming stealthed and it gives you a way to catch up to them after your initial opener. - Pilgrim
  • Sapping people moving through mid is annoying, but it can give you a slight edge if you wait for a partner to help you kill that annoying FC or healer. - Pilgrim
  • Also as a rogue never sap a target with a DOT!
    <
unless that can help you catch up to them - curleypwnsu
  • When on a rogue if you can open without using a sap do it. The sap will just gimp you later because it will lower the duration of your gouge. This can mean less bandage ticks or making it harder to get a restealth - Dutchman

Usefull addons

Battlegroundtargets- this shows u the class and spec and health and range of everybody on the enemy team and u can right click on a persons name to focus them.

Healers have to die - points out those pesky healers for u .

I stopped reading when I saw the first 'ur'.

If your going to make a guide please take the time to make it detailed and understandable please!

I'll give you a day or two for editing but if nothing darastic happens by then I'm going to delete it and you can try again at a later date!

now that's funny

now that's funny

I don't see how it's funny, my mistake was simply a spelling/grammatical error.

He intentionally misspelled a word to save himself typing a few extra characters.

The two aren't even slightly related my good man

What's a guide these days? I think 90% of 20 tinks already knew BiS for a rogue, or maybe all but 1-2 and could ask somebody. Sure, you threw in a couple macros but you need to include how to play as a rogue, maybe a video or something to show your playstyle like Trilium.

Rogues don't have many choices so don't really need a guide.
main choice is whether you want stamina or agility

i had a rogue and the only gear i got was for max damage ambushes, didn't even care for health

a good guide would probably have a standard set, and then a max damage ambush set

So wait... I can put my enchants to vellums?

Sure; on my fire mage I have all enchants waiting for best stuff. Honestly messed up guide, write more clearly and make some links to items. And I don't see any weapons? Well I recommend 2X Bite of Serra'kis (not sure if name is right) since on my rogue they are awesome.

I think you forgot a critical thing about having alchemy on a rogue. It is a must to have when finished next to herbing and here is why: http://www.wowhead.com/item=7676 In combination with the rest of those goodies you can make it's > inscription.
