Edit: I simply told the GM that I was unable to view mail sent to me by the WoW Dev Team, and that was good enough for him to send it through customer support apparently. I wish they still gave pets instead.

I had mail and could not see such a package

I edited my post for clarity. I couldn't see the original mail sent to me. The GM resent it and it appeared from Customer Support.

I've never done this event, it's one I've always skipped. I got a 10% bonus from eating food at a bountiful table (The Spirit of Sharing). It stacks with the 7th anni item.

Is the item consumable? In which case preeeety useless.

EDIT: Oh it only works for one day. Sucks. Wish we could at least keep the tabard.
 
err 2 weeks. Still not a long time.

Well I got my achievement thanks to a GM.
 
I got the achievement when I logged in, but I got the mail icon but no mail. Sent a Ticket and the GM I talked to told me, because I wasn't a full account that I couldn't take full part in the event and there was nothing she could do about it.

Just create another ticket, do NOT mention you are a trial account. I also managed to get my Core Hound out as well.
 
I've tried twice now and both GM's have refused to forward the mail to me. The second was a douche about it. I'll post screenshots of the conversation later.



Guess I'll try again in a few hours. /shrug
 
well last year they gave nothing....there were many flame threads on wow forums.



imo for 7th annv, from what they say in the blue post you think the dev's would have came up with something better? i consider the "celebration package" as a item...not package and imo...it's lame

Yeah it's rather rubbish, but I suppose you can't really complain as it's free. They should go back to giving a cool pet, like the Onyxian Whelp or something. I'm not that bothered about this, or i'd be spamming gms right now. Would be so much better if it lasted forever!
 
All the GMs I've spoken to seem completely unaware of previous tickets opened. Is there anything that happens if you just keep opening them? Anyone had any experience with this?

i haven't opened a ticket in ages, but the couple i have (all on my p2p main) were for item restores on accidental deletes (excluding my one acct hijack experience). the second time the GM specifically said this was my second one and I was limited to the number of times i could restore (which i'm sure was a certain amount of b.s.). maybe acct info drops off or achives after awhile or they don't bother checking?
