Non-BFA potential 110 twinks.

Not sure if anyone else has said, but 110s should be relatively fine in SL. They will take a hit, but will still be powerful for multiple reasons:

-lvl squish will happen, but does not effect stats. There is no stat squish in place so your gear will provide you the same stats
-they are removing legendary abilities, but certain legendaries provide 1-3 sockets, so that's still ideal.
-tier bonuses removed, but again, sockets will still pack a punch.
-access to BFA once SL hits, meaning azerite gear. So if you haven't gotten the newest xpac, don't worry. You'll get bfa for free once new xpac is out.
-110/111s will still be one of the reigning champs compared to other brackets in terms of secondary stat climbs, with the exception of unknown twinking for lvl 50-59 (shadowlands; post lvl squish). BFA gems are just too good.

Yeah 120s could be insanely broken. I mean they already are compared to the first few tiers of BFA.

Talking about your 110’s. At what stage does bfa become bundled what you have access too, and will that coincide with the Xp cap being removal and the removal of the 110 bg range.

Yes that likely will be the case.

likely when the Prepatch hits. Though it could be activated day 1 SL

dungeon finder then premade groups then legion raids. when i request to join i tell the raid leader i need trinkets and relics so they feel less obligated to pass gear to you, but you’ll still get drops. some runs all you’ll get is 5 level upgrade for your path of titans trinket. or you’ll get a 260 scythe on your second run. i try to do one monday then another tuesday after reset so the rest of the week is pvp time.
Hi, all
Thanks for the tips. Making some progress. My first run followed one of Zazzy's scenarios. Joined a 'mythic' run, which at some point got switched to Heroic, but after the first 1-2 bosses everyone dropped except a 110 and 120, who cleared it the final boss, where we only had 30sec before maintenance.

Later, my shaman got a mythic TF piece, but also an Enhancement piece. Is Enh not viable? Seven, you said you can make it work? At mid-levels I can't seem to PvE with it. Always bottom dmg of the dungeon group.

Seven, when you say "dungeon finder then premade groups then legion raids.", can you explain more how you work that?

Advice for Legendaries? Lock can craft Celumbras, and has 4000 Wakening essence on that account. Shaman needs 'Perch'? and what else?

Thanks again.

If this is for BGs, then legendary special effects don't matter - so consider them stat sticks. A popular option is to use the trinkets since they have strong passive stats, and Legion raid trinket procs/on-use effects are nerfed to 25% effectiveness in PvP. The crafted legendaries are also a strong contender, since they have 3 sockets. Just pick whichever matches your gear best.

If you intend to WPvP against 120s, then it's hard to overlook https://www.wowhead.com/item=132452/sephuzs-secret . Especially on a warlock where you can trigger it on demand via Fear (and stun, ofc). It's pretty much Bloodlust and Sprint for 10s every 30s. I don't play Lock/Shaman twinked in this level range, so I can't comment on what the best class-specific legendary is.

your best gear scenario will be something like: 3 setbonus’ (6 tier items 2+2+2 or 4+2). They work in PvP. epic upgradable Argus trinket. 2 legendaries that don’t conflict with wearing 4-6 tier items. Good ones that have high stat amounts would be crafted, prydaz, norgannon, Argus kill legendary ring, warlock portal legs. Class Talent ring, although some like the warlock one, are purposely underbudget since the item effect was so strong for that class

Enh is a hard one. It’s got a lot of utility in its spells with ranged kick, many ranged dmg spells, lasso, slow totem, instant heals. I play a 20 enh and I have to go glass cannon to top dmg, but it’s some serious dmg

I would say that enh likely is a spec that is meh until you get the best gear to be able to let it’s uniqueness really impact fights and bgs

Hi, all
So, as the RNGods seem to be leading me, I left the loot spec as Enh, independent of spec. Just after turning 110, and starting WQs, these triple-procs dropped within a half day of each other. Seems I'm being tempted.
LF advice on how to spend Seals for the coming Antorus runs. Might do ToS, if time.

SHAMAN: After one Antorus Run (only shaman, one hunter and nice group to pass stuff to me), and general questing, shaman looks like this:
ilvl<200:Head Neck Wrist Ring Ring Caster-Trinkets
ilvl >240 Shoulder Cloak Chest Gloves Belt, Legs + Leggy, Boots, Enh-Trinkets*2, Venerated set: cloak, legs, shoulders

LOCK: One ToS Run:
ilvl>210 Head Shoulder Chest Trink*2, 2 Diabolic set
No leggies
Will craft the Celumbra next time the thing is up.

DK:
<220 neck wrist legs
>240 Cloak Dreadwake: Helm Shoulder Chest (Dread legs are 195).
trinkets are 220,225
4 Leggies: ring + Sephuz ring(@Villainsv: Used long time; procs more than I can use in PvE; Not so sure about PvP, with few closers as a DK); UH shoulder, FR belt

Thanks

LF advice on how to spend Seals for the coming Antorus runs.

This is how I approached this:

1. Make a list of your BiS Antorus gear, noting which boss drops what.
2. For each boss, check how many possible items you can get per spec.
3. Change your loot spec per boss to the one that has the least number of items.

E.g. you are aiming for a chest tier piece. The boss that drops it has 2 tank trinkets on his loot table. As unholy/frost you can maybe get 5 items (including the desired one), and blood can get 7. You do NOT want to roll as Blood loot spec. Use the dungeon guide where you can see drops per boss, and there's a dropdown to show loot per your class/spec too.

Used long time; procs more than I can use in PvE; Not so sure about PvP, with few closers as a DK

Not sure what you are trying to say exactly here :). You have a few different ways to proc sephuz as a DK in pvp - ranged stun from asphyxiate, empowered ghoul stun ability as unholy, blind talent as frost. I might be missing some things.

Sephuz is less than ideal in raids (if you happen to raid with 110s only) since bosses are obviously immune to CC.
[doublepost=1589797789,1589797579][/doublepost]Oh, and also don't prioritise loot rolls on artifact relics. You have 2 (admittedly low drop rate) 2H weapon drops in the raid (sword from Aggramar, Scythe from Argus), and just about everyone will trade you their relics since they're useless to a 120. That's assuming they're tradeable of course, which isn't always the case.

IMO ToS and other legion raids are only for tmog purposes, the ilvl is way too low to be anything but a stopgap. Definitely don't do bonus rolls there.

Hey, Villiansv. Thanks for the help.

Regarding your list...I wouldn't have thought to do #2 and #3, but that makes sense. #1 is what I'm asking for help with, as some stuff I THINK would be good for shaman, lock,DK turns out is not...for various reasons ….like you guys said about things being nerfed in PvP.

Regarding Sephuz, I can see why what I said wasn't clear. I've had Sephuz for a couple of years on my DK and it procs off of 6-8 things ….things that I use constantly and many of them instant (Chains of Ice, Death Grip, and I think the talented Death and Decay). But in PvE fights, I get a sprint mostly when I don't need it (mobs don't typically flee) so it seems wasted. However, I haven't really PvPed on that DK for a couple of years, so I'm not sure what doesn't work or is nerfed in PvP.

But for the BIS right now..... I'm focusing on my missing slots...places where I don't have anything good. So, hoping for advice from experienced players in this bracket.

I only did ToS because I got the lock to 110 too late, and couldn't get a Antorus run before reset. I got the 3 Seals before reset but saved them for Antorus, so that lock has 6 seals to use this week.

But in PvE fights, I get a sprint mostly when I don't need it (mobs don't typically flee) so it seems wasted.

The sprint portion of Sephuz's proc is just icing on the cake (though it's amazing in pvp on naturally slow classes like DKs). In both PvE and PvP the real benefit is the 25% haste for 10s every 30s - it's almost a Bloodlust with a 30% uptime if you can proc it on cooldown reliably.

I can't help with your BiS list since I don't twink these classes at or around 110. At lower levels, stacking haste (and mastery) works very well for enh shamans where your goal is to chain multiple SSs as much as possible.

Hi, all.
So, the tier sets would be from ToS, Antorus...WHat's the third set? Anything good enough from Nighthold? Class-hall sets can't upgrade high enough, right?
Those portal legs look interesting. Zazzy, are you saying you don't recommend the Talent Ring? I see your lock has a difft ring.

That Specific ring has less total stats than other classes’ talent rings because it was so OP for aff during legion

there’s NH tier yes but it’s low so very unlikely to get high ilvl.

In my locks current gear I’m just aiming for M tos tier shoulders, or H/M antorus tier shoulders, to run the ant 2set with tos 4set, just because I can, not that the 2set is very strong. I’ll probably swap to norgannon boots for the crafted shoulders, though I’ll take a look at the Argus rings stats etc

So, I joined a group for Mythic Antorus. The group was not big (about 12), got through the first bosses but they tried Eonar and wiped. Every. single. person. bailed. Now, I'm locked to that, right? I sat there for 5 hours waiting, and people would join in 1s and 2s, and pretty much leave right away. Someone at some point changed it to 'Eonar and Beyond'. 5 hours (I did other things, ofc). When I go into the instance now, it says "5/11 bosses defeated. You will be saved to this instance if you stay." What options do I have? Do you think a viable group would join into a random where the first five bosses are already dead? If it's not 'full run', most commonly I see "First 2 Last 2", and people fill those quickly.

Recommendations?

Find someone with the Eonar skip who doesn't need a full run but last 1/2 bosses. Advertise as Aggra + Argus quickrun, use their skip to skip everything (skip to Burning Throne) and just do those last 2 bosses. This is your safest bet of actually getting something more out of that lockout.

Now, in general for Mythic ABT you want to have the skip for yourself. This means getting the quest and killing Aggramar 4 times on Mythic. At that point you do one of 2 things:
1. Make a "full tmog run, skipping Eonar" group and actually lead it properly at a calm pace. Wait for everyone at bosses, state at start any ninja pulls will get kicked (and follow through). Get the full 20, anyone who wants to have 1 of each class only can go make their own group - this way you have buffer against leavers.
2. Make a "full tmog run, including Eonar". Same rules for leading follow, but make sure you know and explain how Eonar works. It's been heavily nerfed and just needs 4 people who can do the mechanic - one of those could be you.

Not leading your own M ABT groups is just leaving yourself open to casual "raid leading" and essentially risking your lockout and loot chances. Don't do it.

FYI currently Eonar mechanic works like this:
1. Designate 4 people (ideally + one backup in case someone dies) to be the ship group. Mark them, preferably choose people who have done it but if not tell them you'll explain, they just have to listen.
2. Go to the platform with Eonar's spirit (where you talk to start the fight and where the loot box spawns). Everyone else is killind adds as usual.
3. Go to the BACk of this platform and wait. 4 flowers will spawn on the ground 4 times during the fight. Each of the 4 people walks over a flower and you get teleported to the legion ship. There is an NPC in the middle - nuke it quick, 120s can 2-3 shot it. Then there are 4 crystals in each of the 4 corners of the room. Each of you clicks it, and then you all run to the NORTH of the ship and use the jump+flight ability to get back to the platform. You can leave from the SOUTH too, but then you have to fly around the ship and it's riskier.
4. Repeat this 3 more times. Any fail on this mechanic will wipe the raid - people will leave so don't wipe. Deactivating a crystal gives you one of a few possible debuffs, one of which is just annoying - you can get one that tosses you in the air a lot so be ready to counter the fall damage. None should kill you even as a 110/111 but you can always ask for a healer to keep an eye on you.
5....
6. Loot and go on with the raid. It takes about 10 minutes so I usually prefer skipping it, but will do it if most of the group wants to.

Huge amount of help, Villainsv. The first idea seems my only hope.

As far as leading, 1. I'm a 110, and 2. I'm only now getting serious with the content and learning the fights. I'm not qualified to lead anything.

EONAR: As lowbie, I'm usually on ship duty. Today, I was on another char doing Eonar. Small group again, but I'm the only one NOT 120. First wipe had something to do with the adds, apparently...not the ship.

Second wipe: At the second or third trip to the ships, I got there late, and we were slow to kill the add. We had a 120 warr I think and a 120 Healing priest. By the time we got to the crystals, they were black and unclickable. Is that because we were too slow? Even a veteran player was puzzled.

Big chunk of the team bailed. Luckily, this group then just skipped Eonar (unfortunately for that priest who came only for Eonar). We finished without major issue.

You don't need to be an expert on the fights, most are 10-second facerolls. Just focus on knowing the way, helping stragglers not be lost, and enforce your own rules. Someone ninja pulls when half the raid is still running to boss, and they've been warned already? Raid warning for everyone to wipe, kick offender. Eonar is the only 1 that needs a strategy - and is conveniently skippable. Aggramar needed some strat too at BFA launch when dps was low and tanks went flying off, but now it hasn't been an issue since 8.2 gear levels.

Yeah that's a massive fail on the part of people not splitting up and nuking adds. It's one fight where it's tricky to go with few people since 4 of you can't help with adds.

Just get 4 people to go, and no need for a healer really. The add should die in 2-3s if 120s look at it, then having 4 people who are marked helps with everyone splitting up and going to a separate crystal. If you have less than 4 it's still doable where 1 person can click 2 crystals, but that person had better have some speed boost.
