It's great to see a few people deserving of the nomination. When the work you do goes beyond a particular bracket, that's when you make a major impact. @Sun not only served as an excellent liaison between outside interest and the....ahem...various strata of the 39 community, but the impact reverberated to other brackets as well. @Sun for MVP.

RIP my notifications. Thanks everyone.

I'll throw in for @Sun as well. I've just barely broken into 39s and Sun has done great work there with the 39s gear list, epic farming guide, and other great resources. Add in being the voice of reason on numerous occasions (not just with the recent asmongold stuff), and you've got someone with a great influence on the community from both a gearing and social perspective.

HeyGuys I nominate @Zeiren

Overall I feel Zeiren's contributions to the community, site and discord TRUMP everyone else's efforts.

Guides are great, coordinating for your bracket is even better, catering to a well known streamer is even better x2, adapting to scaling is ultra badass and next lvl Sheldon BUT being the back bone to the website... where all those great things get shared/posted too...

VOTE ZEIREN 2018
he deserves it the most!

Thanks to everyone who would nominate me. My vote would go to a longtime 70s Guardian @Shinela . Without you, Shinela, we wouldn't have Ante Amanthe today. And without Ante Amanthe (currently biggest 70s guild EU) I wouldn't have done all my experiments and attempts (like developing BCEP own Rating Addon together with Scoot (@Fx) , exploring Skirmish API ranking, Arenatournaments...) to get our bracket going somehow. Thank you @Shinela and your great officer team (@Dreams and Co). And I hope for the near future that we will soon be able to present something together to our Bracket. What PvE is revolutionizing in a Twink Bracket :) !

*reads thread rules* >proceeds to disobey them
ok so realistically there's 2 names that keep popping up, sun and necroaqua

given the choice between those two it's obvious necroaqua is the mvp

@Sun - before @Mcconnell and Asmon revived 39s -which they did don't even try to argue against it- sun's only contribution on the site was posting someone else's enchant spreadsheet and posting a guide on how to get scaled epics, not before farming banks and banks worth of items, flaming anyone who came to see what he was doing in silithus and then posting the thread after thinking it'll get fixed shortly.

so unless by some bizarre logic you're giving him credit for the enchant spreadsheet or some even more bizarre logic giving him credit for the 39 revival, thanks asmon. Sun has done next to nothing for the community other than answering a handful of basic questions to new players in his own bracket.

@necroaqua - this dudes got a couple guides couple bis lists, nothing major but not minor either, compiling basic information from other sources into a singular easy to find and understand thread, just putting everything in one thread so information isn't spread out, although clearly it didn't fking work for the majority of new players it was designed for as now he spends 25 hours a day answering apes' questions in discord, props for your patience.

he isn't limited to one bracket either, answering questions in every single bracket, obviously he isn't 100% sure on every question in every bracket but he gets you an answer pretty quickly.

so that's the two nominations most common in this thread, which although they both have some merit, realistically in my opinion helping new players shouldn't be the sole decider in who's mvp.

im sure most of you are aware i despise anything that isn't or doesn't feel competitive and my nomination always goes to people who are trying to organize real games so this award is looking bleak although a few people can get mentioned.

@Lopió / @Chainz - these guys currently forming EU plebs at 19, although they're dumbasses and don't actually advertise it anywhere on the site, they have their own dedicated discord for it which I actually only found out about after they messaged someone from NA who previously used one of my EU accounts in the games before, you lose points for no organisation on the site, idiots :/

@Vehexmence - not sure if it was his idea for the 30-39 NA Bi-weekly wargames, but he's the owner of the thread so I assume, although his brackets resurgence is new (not sure if he's new too) and they aren't capitalising on interest properly, seen these guys using XPOff discord to hold their games which is a problem with how many people can just join the voicechats mid game and cause shit, make your own dedicated discord to make organising much easier, invite anyone interested and you can post announcements so you can determine interest easier and you could get games going more than bi-weekly, less potential interference in games etc
overall it's a good initiative but it's not using your brackets full potential, 19s used their own discord to post announcements e.g Thumbs up if you're interested in games tonight/tomorrow/x. Then use the number of reactions to determine if it's worth forming etc.

all in all none of the people on xpoff really stand out, nothing major going on in the site or any bracket for that matter, couple people answering questions and a couple people organising real shit but too early stage to start applauding.

dunno why anyone (including me don't get it twisted) even pays attention to this award when it's been a joke since the start.

first award was given to @saxxon for no actual reason (he posts twice a year) other than getting votes from asking for them on his stream

which then made you ask us for a reason for nomination on the second award

second award given to @Ripduck with the reason being he bought the site off @Conq and for making another TC (which hadnt happened yet) and im pretty sure i called it when i said nothing will change on the site (it hasn't) and the TC will be the most boring one yet (it was)

now with this third one you removed the need for a reason again?
i like how you put in that they have to be active within 3 weeks of nominations due to the foresight that I or anyone else can throw up some names like HB, Pizza or even fking Curley and they'd auto win because of who they are and it'd be funny.

stop this joke of an award

Haven't felt the need to advertise it here cus' we always get 20 people together. I only asked the people from US who played wargames at the end of legion with us to come back and play and they did come back. For the others the word will spread itself. Ty for the mention tho.
