AND the shown item level in the armory is wrong. I'm wearing 815.31, armory says 820. If I would change my 755 trinket with my 840 sff then I would have 820.62. As you can see, no matter what you do there is always something to it.

Maybe just add a very brief description in bold below the header text, like "BoE Item Level is the average ilvl of only your BoE/legendary items (not including weapons)".
The other day I hit 2.2m and my think hits for about 400-450k a tickOut of curiosity, what does your trinket hit for with cds and what is your dps peak with cds?
Yeah can we update this so it shows equipped item level? I believe I'm the highest equipped Druid on here and you show me like 5th because people pack their backpack full of goodies lol. Not really relevant what you have that you're not wearing tbh. Just a thought, no flamerino. Loving the community so far, keep up the good work guys.
The only problem I have with even 'Equipped' is iLvL fluffers out there Equipping the 2H Mace even for specs they get no benefit from the Int (Ret Pally) just so they can brag having the highest iLvL lol. IMHO it should count ONLY with an Artifact Weapon Equipped, but @Aelobin brings up a great point about the 810 Relics being so ultra rare that only a tiny % of the 101-109 Twink community has them, or even one.
In the end it doesn't really matter that much because we know who the iLvL fluffers are, that includes people sticking any BoE with a high iLvL in any slot regardless of it's benefit or not having Tertiary and Socket (Tertiary + Socket is FAR more valuable Stat weighted than an raw +20 iLvL item).
The current system (BoE Item Level) doesn't take into account items in your bag. It's just the average ilvl of slots relevant to your primary stat (plus any extra BoE's you choose to equip) and a legendary if you're wearing one. It doesn't include weapons, the WoD legendary ring, and allows for one low ilvl trinket to be ignored.

The system is based on BOE Item Level, which is equip based, not based on what people have in their bags.
