just some quick update on higher exp-off twink brackets because i play/follow them all.

1, 29/39 dead.

2, 49 scheduled games only, that means only a few a week, and games aren't really that fun.

3, 55~59/60~64 dead.

4, 70~74, resil is completely imbalanced: when you have people that run around with 90% resil buffed, it means he only takes 10% damage. so he can literally solo tank 5 mediocre people with 10 stacks.

5, 80~84, because wrath is default now(you can level to 80 even if you have basic wow) the gear gap and skill gap is huge. it is not uncommon for a dedicated 84 twink to go 75 KB 0 Death in one AB.

6, 85~89, i heard it's pretty active. i have an 85 twink ready but i haven't played it yet. i have a strong feeling that it won't be that balanced.

so basically 20-24 is the most active, most competitive, most balanced bracket right now. it is currently the best twink pvp experience in WoW, and you guys can play it for free.
 
Thank you Captain Obvious for that important update. Any bracket blizzard moves f2p will be the most active bracket with 24/7 ques.

Pay less, get more. Great incentive to sub again!

Edit: Was going to say I don't see how Blizzard could be dumb enough to overlook people being able to get 90%+ resilience in the 70-74 bracket, but considering there are even talents (Totemic Restoration) that made it live bugged, I'm not shocked.

F2P is the only PvP in WoW worth what you pay for it ;)
 
Yeah. The other brackets suck. And F2P is in a great place right now. Sucks that we have very little serious pvp oriented activity these days, but seems twinks are actually more attracted to imbalance.

I'm not trying to be that person but...

Do you really believe that this bracket is the most balanced and most competitive bracket? There's nothing really competitive when 24's are running around in every bg. Not saying that there is a problem with that, but to say this bracket is the most competitive bracket in wow is simply a huge joke.

Balance is also an issue, now I know wow pvp is not balanced at all but i wouldn't really call this the most balanced bracket either, especially when healers are the way they are currently. We may be the most active twink bracket which is definitely a good thing, but I just don' think it is safe to say we are the most competitive or most balanced bracket, because that is simply a huge lie.
 
so..bracket isnt balanced?


speaking of balance....do you guys want another Balance druid or something?or i can spec resto

3. Thought these would be somewhat active with 59 dks or 60 vanilla twinkers
4. Have a couple toons in this bracket. It has always been shit. It just went from stupidly high dps to stupidly high resil. I wish I could see how many rogues/mages rerolled a healer with max resil.
5. Blizz set this up when they moved wrath to the main battlechest with cata being only 5 lvs higher. Play 80 at your own risk
6. Idk why it would be active? Maybe as xp on bracket but I would hate to twink at 89 knowing so much new stuff is available the next lv

20-24: most active: yes
Most competitive: I guess it's competitive
Balanced: this bracket has never and will never be balanced as long as it's 20-24. period.
Free play: what does this say? WoWs highest twink population doesn't even pay for the game.. Why pay for a game like this when you can have the best pvp experience (the best part of this game imo) for free?
 
just to clarify, when i said balanced, i meant relatively balanced compared to other active twink brackets.

and to be honest, the difference between a good F2P class/player and a bad 24 class/player is really minimal. a lot of the times i'd rather trade in a crappy 24 teammate for a good F2P.

That only goes so far. I was vs a 24 Tauren hpala yesterday who was clearly very unskilled, but unless the team focused him we were pretty much fucked due to the 1.3 sec cast 450 crits on denounce (Or whatever it is - I might have the spell wrong).

I spam feared as much as I could but it's a little ridiculous to say the least.
