EU WTS lvl 7-8 SUPER rare equipment

Maybe skullflame shield guy and this dude actually both did get items restored today, by the same stupid GM

In which case that GM is going to get fired lol
 
I am not sure how they restore these items. But if i get them back like this i assume its because its not the same item, but only the item "code" and since my bank is lvl 1 i guess they automaticly scale down if you do not "put the right numbers in"?
 
This kinda reminds me eons ago when someone petitioned the GMs to move BOP items from a character that was a twink and restored them straight to a level 1 (We're talking TBC era). This was all before the scaling of gear nonsense. I really don't think this will work or if it does, you gotta get the right GM. I remember when I over leveled my 10 rogue from years back and petitioned for the items to get transferred over.

After all; ya' dump a crap ton of gold on gear, enchants and do you really wanna go back through it, I didn't but I still never got the right GM, even talked to a good chunk of Senior GMs (These are the folk that have been working the longest, the cream of the crop GMs.) I always got denied but; I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask?

Its all fucking sketchy. grey area as all hell and I'm not going to get banned for exploiting GMs.

So speaking from a little experience here- if this is the way he did it...

When you have a GM restore an item- he will mail the item to your toon. Upon accepting this item from the mail, this item effectively “drops”. This is how these items are scaling to level 7 (if you notice- his toon was level 7).

Blizzard obviously does not expect you to get any of these items on a level 7. The way you are “gated” is that your level 7 cannot loot any mobs that drop these items (except via GM).

For those wondering- when the item is mailed to you- it shows in the mailbox with really weird stats- for those of you that have any, similar to how a “of shadow wrath” item would look in a guild bank today (can send a screenshot when home from work for those curious).

I was really hoping these items were farmable... but doesn’t look to be the case.

Haha, i think you are misunderstanding. No characters were ever deleted. I have explained how "it happend" in an edit

Gr8 info, but this was from my lvl 1 toon (bank) should it not in that case scale to lvl 1?? For some reason i also have a lvl reqment 67 gear, which has 2 stamina and is about ilvl 12 or so.

the issue is that this has different level range. either way not a single item restoration.

I am surprised they did this for you. I have friends who have genuinely just tried to get their items back (without scaling) and the GMs flat out refuse to restore items that were lost in the mail.

In regards to your level 1- it is strange that these have all scaled to level 7. Unsure on the algorithm here. If day, your toon was level 20, these items would likely scale closer to level 20.

level 7 is the lowest level epics can scale, if you want 17/18 epics I would assume lvl 18 would be best (considering 19 might proc level 22 epics tho idk)

great now in 30 days blizz is gonna be dealing with 3500 recovery tickets instead of dealing with real issues :mad:
 
Yeah it seems like an abusive way to get em. Blizz will catch on and these will become even more rare
