WTB 39 perfectly geared 80 Mages

Take an Unholy DK tank who pops a golemblood potion to be avoidance capped against Sha of Anger for 25 secs.

Have 39 mages all with this gear which should make them hit capped (95% with consumables).

Laugh as a raid of level 80s kill a level 90 world boss.

Shame it will never happen, but I can dream

Blood presence yo! But with 39 mages, it's not like you'd need a tank xD Would take him a minute or more to kill them all just with melee swings.

i learnt today that if i get high enough haste the flame shock ticks come so fast that i can pump out lavaburst's at a sick rate for good single target dps, this is only for the duration of the cooldowns..
mage's are still better :/

is there some fixed % increase per "lvl gap"

Because they don't need them? Alchemy and BS are the worst professions for mages.

Target dummy tests and putting it into practice in raids.

You can also figure out what the caps for an 80 vs 88 would be by hitting a 93 dummy with an 85.

On a side note, have fun holding aggro.

With mirror image mages have 30 sec with no aggro, if the fight is longer, all you need to do is pop invisibility near the end and reset it. Will need to farm gear but I'm in! Let me know if you're running Heroic ICC and want a fire mage to join in, need the 277 items for the hitcap
