Notifications keep adding up

    • They've been adding up for a few days now and when I try to check quotes from notifications, it gives this message:

    vBulletin Message

    This user has not registered and therefore does not have a profile to view.



    Likes work fine when I click em on notifications, but quotes seem to be bugged. Not a big issue for me, just thought if you guys are willing to try to fix it... ^^
     
    I have looked through all the admin options I have access to and either I haven't found the correct option or I don't have the right permissions. :(
    We'll have to wait for [MENTION=5141]Shane[/MENTION] to have some time off from his new job and take a look.
     
    Do you have remember me box checked in or something, no idea if that is the problem but I know it has caused trouble with diffrent things before.

    Don't really get what you mean, like do I keep my account logged on TI 24/7? Yes I do, tried relogging though and that didn't help. The thing is, usually when you click notifications -> quotes, the notification thing resets to 0 (or actually it doesnt even say 0, just empty). But now I cant see who quoted me by clicking the notification link, I have to separately go to my profile to check the quotes, also the notification thing doesn't ever reset to 0.

    ps. Sorry that was probably really unclearly explained, I blame it on staying up 24h etc. And alkohol ofc. Always blame it on the alcohol

    i usually just click reset page after click new quote and it resets, but if that doesnt work then indeed something is very wrong :p

    It should clear the notifications even without reloading page as soon as I click the link (as it has always done since the day notifications came out on TI), but the problem is that the quote link isn't working for me -> it doesn't clear notifications either.
     
    Still don't know how to fix this. :( Hope [MENTION=5141]Shane[/MENTION] will take a look and figure it out. ^^
     
    Is it just me or does every post by the OP for the last month or so repeat itself 3 times?

    I see 3 of every post Mesikämmen makes and have for the last month of so.
     
    Had to shrink it down to fit all three in the SS but see below. Yde

    Oh dear, and what is up with your sidebar, [MENTION=1694]Eliot[/MENTION]?! The problem is I really don't see what could be causing it, my knowledge of vBulletin is limited and I don't have access to all admin features. Within the parts I can access I can't see any option that looks like a plausible fix to me. :(

    Hope [MENTION=5141]Shane[/MENTION] gets an opportunity to check the Bug Report section soon.

    [MENTION=10336]Yde[/MENTION], my sidebar doesn't actually look like that, haha. I had to zoom my browser way out in order to capture all three of the posts in one SS (this makes the sidebar look like that).
     
    My new real-life job has been kicking my ass as I get acclimated to the production cycle.

    Anyways, I am correct in understanding that when you click your notifications up in the top bar and then read them, they do not go away?

    From my understanding, no one else has this problem, so something has to be wrong with your browser configuration. Have you tried reading your notifications in a different browser to see if they go away that way?

    This is what it says when I click to see quotes / mentions from Notifications :( And they don't reset. I have to check my quotes etc from my profile instead.

    I believe Chi still has the same problem
