Having fun. Take it easy on the GY camping though guys. That's part of the reason things are dead.
Well, it WAS fun. Sadly the same troop of GY farmers made their appearance and did their thing. Shame they don't realize they are what killed 19s to begin with.

Played 2 games, imo it was far from fun. First game we just sat in mid for 18 min with full stacks and couldn't do anything due to the insane amount of damage(jetlife) and everyone in the damn game besides our healers had a hard-on for my water elemental (jetlife) 
Then with 3 minutes left our fc decides to pull a browntown when half our team is dead and loses the game. Extreme fun in the making right there. 2nd game we get rolled, idk had some fun 1v1s with sax but that was about it. Except that he shadowmelded my novas like 10 times in a row... All in all a great time in the bracket, I had a ton of fun /end sarcasm.
edit: I lied. There was one bit of fun and that was in shutting down rogues and those damn warriors by spamming my 1.6 sec frostbolt all day!

Well you actually have to time your cc to kill efc, so I understand why you would bash it, because you aren't good enough to know that. Secondly, the games were really fun! Though I wish I had updated more than my prot warr haha.
what is the alternative? stand in mid? allow the enemy a greater chance at obtaining the flag only to be slain mercilessly after? if anything farming the GY is compassionate.

19s have the best team work of any other bracket, they know how to fight as a 10 man pack, explain to me any other alternative way you can not kil them in mid after they have left the GY, do you allow them to pass in mid field whilst stayin your 10 man pack? seems to make zero sense to me
19s had 2 games going at once with one thread suggesting to que, thats a pretty active bracket i think

I am just saying that for a first night back with pops, people should have played with more decency and try to attract and keep people playing.
If you find that farming GY on the first night back will attract and expand your bracket then go for it.
I mean by the fact that half the alliance team I was in afk'd out, gives you a pretty good idea how things are in the 19s.
the people who qued know that gy containing is a staple, there may have been one or two people in games that night who qued in on a fluke and wernt aware of games happening.
there is no stopping GY containing, if your team had a chance they wouldnt be stuck in the GY rezzing with there full team and losing every battle. no point in giving them false hope by letting them run out to mid to be slaughtered there to.
edit: and mind you, im totally against GY farming, i never go in there and do it but i'm not dumb enough to be so stubborn about it, its what happens and its clear as fuck that the opponent has no chance or else they wouldnt be getting camped, as long as people are running flags consistently i have no issue with people holding the enemy team there.

honestly tho u cant expect it go well as a frost mage. fire and arc are both definately better at 19 now. and dont lie those games were incomparably funner than 20-24 bracket games. the only shitty games were the ones that turned into GY farming within 1-2 minutes of the game starting, which if i recall were only the LAST few games bcuz of pizza & some others. maybe i just dont recall farming if my groups the one doing it though, but im still pretty sure those two games you were in were much more difficult to land caps in than the games following it

I was playing a stam/haste stacking frost mage for the FUN of it, not because I wanted to top charts. I had no boas and a 3 int 1 spirit offhand on a mage I just threw together to play some games on. I was still 4th team dmg with 10 kbs and 4 deaths. I did it for FUN. And I don't get how you call those games good, after both FCs picked and crossed we just sat in mid randomly 1 shotting a few ppl then both teams fell back to wait for GY rezzes. And 2nd game was just a roflstomp. Didn't see anything in those 2 games that made me want to Q 19s anytime soon.
edit: 20-24 games don't have random people with 1k hp tho, even the baddies have like 1.2-1.4k

neither of these games were honestly facerolls, had curley not AFK'd out of the first one after probably raging from being trashed a few times in a row you guys woulda had a much better shot. and if you look at the second game theres honestly no reason why you guys lost other than maybe because you were playing a "for fun" spec. if you were actually contributing on a decent level you might've enjoyed it much more. im pretty sure i speak for the majority who played last night that the games were much funner than the f2p bracket games. my 24 mage icelances for 1.2-1.4k so that hp comment is irrelevant those games ARE worse hands down besides the 5man premade syncs or actual pre made wargames
edit: when you really look at the numbers on those screenshots, the only reason for loss was horde was just preforming worse for some reason. nothing else. there was equal heals of same classes in first game(1 disc 1 rdruid) too so honestly just dont que if u dont enjoy it, better off having the slot filled with someone whos gonna actually TRY, 19 bracket has hardly ever been a bracket for the past year or 2 that people just play shitty specs to fuck around

The first game wasn't a faceroll it was just boring as fuck. 2nd game we were losing and our whole team was in your gy, and I was the only one going for flag, and couldent kill sax because of them pro melds in novas that's all I rest my case. And last time I checked peeling for fc while getting 3rd team KBs and 3rd team DMG while having fewer deaths than any dps but telle ON A NON BOA FROST MAGE is actually contributing on a decent level. Just my $0.02.
