Wriles 19 Twink Rogue Cataclysm Guide

  • Creating a twink is the perfect solution for end-game boredom and among the most fun twinks are rogues in the 19 bracket. They are easy to make but require a good amount of cash flow. My maxed out rogue cost around 6000g for his two sets. However, an average twink costs around 4k gold I would say. In my twink guide I will show you the best possible gear, professions and enchants for that level so you can be the best of the best. The first items are for crit, the items after the slash are for hp.

    GEAR:

Head: Stained Shadowcraft Cap/Lucky Fishing Hat

Neck: Scout's Medallion or alliance version

Shoulders: Stained Shadowcraft Spaulders/Exceptional Stormshroud Shoulders

Back: Tumultuous Cloak of the Bandit/Monkey

    Chest: Stained Shadowcraft Tunic

    Bracers: Black Wolf Bracers

Hands: Foreman's Gloves/Gloves of the Fang

Belt: Vigorous Belt of the Bandit/Monkey

Pants: Smelting Pants/Leggings of the Fang

    Feet: Feet of the Lynx

    Ring 1: Protector's Band(horde) Ello's Band(alliance)

    Ring 2: Signet of Argas

Trinket 1: Inherited Insignia of the Horde/Alliance

    Trinket 2: Arena Grand Master

Main Hand Weapon: Venerable Mass of McGowan-Ideally a Shadowfang but that's pretty much impossible to get now that it only drops from the last boss in SFK with a .01% DR (correct me if I'm wrong). However if you see one, grab it, it's invaluable.

Off Hand Weapon: Impish Blade/Venerable Mass of McGowan-Ideally a Shadowfang but that's pretty much impossible to get now that it only drops from the last boss in SFK with a .01% DR (correct me if I'm wrong). However if you see one, grab it, it's invaluable.

    Thrown: Sludge-Caked Throwing Knives

do you know which boss drops shadowfang?

Nice guide, but there are already 5 rogue guides.

The answer is all bosses have a chance to drop Shadowfang.

Another bad rogue guide, like we needed one. No one needs to be told what gear to get, and obviously no one knows how to play a rogue, hint: theres more to it than SS spam

Theres no reason to ever have a dagger offhand.....

Shadowfang drops off of the last 4 bosses + the rare spawn.

Guide for the guide made. Where's my "MVP" title.

Some of the gearslots are really open to multiple pieces of gear choices, such as cob boots from wc instead of lynx, Also foremans gloves>>>fang, imo no rogue should be using fang gloves because the expertise from foremans is too valuable and they are easy to farm, but could just take a while.

Also some enchants are open to multiple choices, such as 9 str to bracers instead of 9 stamana. Both off those are useful with neither one being better than the other, its just a toss up between a small amount of attack power and 90 hp.

    Who is your rogue ?

And did you just throw out a quick guide for mvp?

Well time to work on my rogue guide

I suggested the dagger because of the hit rating which you can either get from faction swapping or using deviate scale belt so this is a nice way to make up for what you can't get on horde side.
