wowhead classic gear planner is up

Classic will be more time waste than the actual game. Youre spending a lot of time for things you already know, where u have a lot of tools and guides nowadays and where everyone is smart. In the latest expansion you can at least explore yourself new stories, quests, areas , gear and abilities. Have fun all blizzard slaves

Can't wait to be a slave again!

things you already know
A lot of people have no idea about classic. Guides, add-ons, bis lists will make things easier but we can say it'll be something new and fresh for many people. Will modern WoW players who have no experience on older content enjoy classic? I believe very big percent will give up after a month or two. WoW community is divided. There're two different products for two different kinds of players.

Exactly! I started playing in BC! I guess I wouldn't be as excited for Classic if I had played during Vanilla.

I didn't play WoD MoP and BFA

@Turdel I played TBC, Wotlk and Pandaria end game content both PVE and PVP. Pandaria had very cool things but tons of CC, tons of burst, almost immortal healers made me quit the game for end game. Healers had infinite mana, sustained damages for dps classes had gone. You had to wait for big CD's to land a kill in arenas. These things were not fun. This was the first time I told myself that I wanted to play old school WoW. Not this shit...

Haha I should have been more detailed. I played WoD MoP and BFA long enough to know that they were low quality expansions.

Legion tho...I loved legion

Mythic plus was top tier and the raiding in Legion was difficult yet rewarding.

Yes they have no idea about classic, but nowadays you have millions of youtube guides, wowhead guides etc... . My point was that people don't have to explore anymore they just have to read a lot. If someone doesnt know anything about classic lego wowhead.com and read 15mins the guide . After this guide someone might be even stronger than u althought u might have more classic experience. Not the retards will give up, the old players will give up earlier

this has allways been a thing?

do you actually think that lmao when literally every new patch has everything you need to know up on wowhead before it even goes live

modern or classic if you want to go explore and not use the power of a search engine in the year 2019 ad then go for it man

I don't use them at all. I don't even check the newest Patch Notes and class Changes. i just login and try out stuff if there comes to new patch.

Pretty easy to play by using tokens. I haven’t given them a single penny in years.

Last time I checked, you can't purchase Expansions with Tokens. Won't Classic require owning the filth that is BFA?

Thank you for posting this, I just had a trip down memory lane with it :)
It's fun fantasizing about the lovely gear we might get... but modern players might be a bit dismayed in Classic when "ninja-looting" and it's (sometimes) innocent cousin "accidental binding" makes a painful comeback.
It was *very* hard to get decent gear in vanilla unless you were a guildmaster or favoured guildie of a raid guild PLUS incredibly lucky.
Remember these were 40-man raids... an awful lot of people to share the meagre loot with.

@Oldpunk
Giving away epics to everyone is one of the things killed the WoW's soul for me. 1800 rating was required to get pvp weapons in Wotlk or you had to raid for a good epic weapon. (There was an epic crafted mace with BSing but it was bad) If you were a casual player, blue weapons were the best you could get. They've added new epic weapon drops from dungeons at the end of expansion. I'm trying to say Epics were really epics.

The players who had their first experience with Wow after Wotlk will be the tourists of Classic WoW. They'll start to cry like babies after 2 weeks. They'll return to their homes and We'll stay.

Exchange tokens purchased on AH from in game gold for Blizzard currency. Blizzard currency can be used for digital purchases. This includes expansions.
Unless Blizzard changed their policy since I purchased BfA. I purchased the CE version this way when it was available.

It’s certainly going to be an eye opener for a lot of people.
One way or the other...
