Blizzard here, in order to cater to the unskilled and noobish 8 year olds, we have decided to remove all abilities with the exception of swing, dodge, block, jump, and throw. these 5 new abilities will be placed on your bar and only be clickable. gg

The expansion won't come out until atleast next year, and they are just modifying a few stats. Really, the changes to the stats won't make any difference on how easy the game is to PLAY, it will just make it easier to decide on GEAR, which BTW is =/= to SKILL.



Only problem I see is that twink hunters will have more AP to throw around.

I kinda agree, but have you ever played CoD4 or 5? So much fun shooting dem hoes :D
 
Most 8 year olds go to theorycraft sites to read up on gear aep values anyways to figure out what they want to get.



This just makes things easier on theory crafters with less stats to calculate for.



PS, on defense rating removal, it's mostly for endgame reasons. Anyone who has ever played an endgame tank knows the expense of regemming/chanting after picking up any upgrade.

The truth is, this will just be another patch that people will have to adapt to. Who knows, they may be releasing more nformation during Blizzcon today that you might like.

i just honestly feel that what it really boils down to his being able to make wow playable by even the most noobish people in order for them to make more money. which is what i know what this is about and i am fine with that, but dumbing down the game and taking the customization out of the game is just wrong. i mean comon, they are removing, armor pen, ap, mp5, SPELL POWER? ect ect. that means u gear for 2-3 stats on your guy, everyones character's will be exactly the same, no more being different or thinking outside of the box, isnt this the true reason most of us twinked? for creativity?
 
Stop the QQ >.< You have NO impact on how the game is, if you dislike it that much go to Aion or something....



Stop being so negative, and start seeing the light in every patch

honestly i think it will be fine. there are plenty of perfectly fun RPG games that only use 5 or so stats... the stats will be different but i think it will just simplify things, not drastically change anything for better or worse.

ect ect ect, all removed or changed because of the patch, and the list goes on and on. so those ap bracers people paid 500g for might get changed to 5 agility, same as forest leather, we will see whos qq'ing later.

remember when people flipped shit when healing power got merged into spell power? and how nothing really changed? yeah, this is like that. calm down.
