WOD damage calculations

Yep resil and talents and all that good stuff is factored in .

Only thing ing I don't account for is the stat squish on non weapons ( might loose an agi/str/int or two but over all I don't think it would lower your damage stat by more than 15 at absolute most most probably closer to 7 but yeah these numbers are as accurate as they can be given wowhead data formulas :)

Edited ele shamans , balance druids, prot warriors, prot pallys , and rogues after yesterdays patch

some things of note would be . lightning shield stacks to 15 now so fULm got adjusted.

sheild slam got buffed .

prot pallys got nerfed . they are just a tank now and will do about the same over all damage as a port warrior but more spread out .

rogues have a spell power coefficient in their evis damage now so dw jp sp maces may be bis if they benefit from the sp on the WEp.

balance got a buff to skillsurge and now will bis for them to spam starsurge in burst periods.
^ they lost stun from rake though :(

o_O that might be just a little OP lol

Do they still get the dagger bonus?

Weapon swapping while you wait for energy regen for huge eviscerates might be a thing. That and the combo points staying with the rogue makes things interesting. Combat might be pretty serious.

During cp building phases you will want a slow my and fast offhand with high agi stats but assuming that clause stays in the formula you would definately want to swap to jp sp maces for that final blow.

That's how it used to be, but with weapon speed being standardized, where does that leave us? Blackwater Cutlass mh, wicked dagger oh? Or agi loom mace or dalrend's mh, heart seeker oh?

Something like that? Ofc it's all speculation at this point...

Mass main hand heartseaker off hand IMO both have haste .

i think you're too absorbed in theorising and studying wod changes. we'll wait till it comes out and then see what's hot and what's not.

They are still testing, and i really doubt (un)Balance will stay the way it is, since they said Moonkins are OP atm.
And yes, making calculations every single time something is announced is a bit too much. Everything will be messed up the first couple weeks anyway (hello 2k holy shock).

You know what we forgot to account for, being 29. And the gear scaling that will happen there. Holy BoA stats is all I have to say...

armor pieces that scale particularly well like collarspike bracers , rfc cloak, armor of the fang . they will all have very nice stats im sure :p

no at the moment you gain "4 item lvls" so if a item has a item lvl of 14 and u put it on in bgs the item lvl is raised to 18 and the stats are adjusted. it seems to be on a percentage basis which is why lower lvl items seem to gain more stats.

In wod we will be gaining "9 item lvls"

so basicaly i would guess as a rough estimate for gear you can "double the current stat increase" in bgs. (there may be some exceptions where the gain is doubled then +1 )

for example
foremans gloves goes from 5 ag 5 exp to 7 ag 7 exp in bgs ( gain of two ) so double the gain and u get 9/9
naga goes from 7 st 7 ag to 8 st 8 ag ( gain of one) double the gain and u get 9/9

if an item doesn't scale currently i think its safe to say it may gain 1 to each stat in wod ( maybe)

what does this mean u might ask

well no more need for mail str bracers or stam bracers collarspike will probably be bis in both those areas.
