I am really looking forward to the potential of 39s. You should definitely make a toon should things get going.

39 has been a multiple thing coming up I have seen lately. I have only twinked 19 and 85. Is the hype real?!?! If we are in the same fantasy football league with or against you would intrigue me to play. I would bring 3-5 ppl with me if the hype is real. We are on the constant of the next big thing and currently it all points to 29s. If 39 is > please PM or let me know. Myself and Kidneypopper are on the look of the next big thing. He and a couple of friends are currently are stuck on the 90-99 bracket. 19s are too boring for them and I have ALMOST got them to commit to 29 bracket. Does 39 show promise?

I don't really think a few hundred dollars from winning the twink cup is the main driving force for activity in the bracket. I think it's the bragging rights of winning the cup. But if the winning team quits for 3/4 of the year, I don't think the title really means that much.

Champions got to defend the title. Different people have different times when they can play a lot. Not everyone has time to play a lot during the summer. If you aren't willing to play most of the year, and complete against those players, I don't really think you can claim to be year round, twink champions. Plus, what's the point of winning if you can't even parade around showing it off. And you just going to let someone else run the show while your gone?

Of course, if people actually want 19s to just be a seasonal thing, then I guess they thing to do quit for nine months, and only play horde. I think we have a good thing going, but it's going to take a little unselfishness to keep it going.

The problem is there really isn't a good thing going for this bracket besides the TC. Unless people really do like the one sided BGs..

If it wasn't for the TC this bracket wouldn't be active, just read the comments above. A lot of people saying they are going to be taking breaks after the tournament is over, but isn't that what happened last year as well.

Trust me, I want this bracket to stick around all year, it's the most fun I've had in a while. I just don't see it happening.

The nwl or w/e will kill the bracket. You promote a GG19 project and all new twinks will be excluded from this. It sounds good but it doesnt mean good. Pugs will not meet full potential till guilds rise up after the TC and it is 3 (horde guild input) vs 5 (ally guild input) and the underdog wins and it becomes a topic other than just another petty pug win. 19s will never be what they were. It can have potential but if we input a "league" to take away from games will only hurt/kill the bracket. You kill pugs you kill the bracket. Why implement something that only caters to the most "popular" players or active personalities on TI. Pugs run any bracket. More pops the better for the bracket as a whole not a system that caters only to a handful of ppl.

yeah, i don't see the league as being good for 19s or twinking in general. if 19s die off again, what is left? 20s? they don't even pop anymore from what i hear. we just recently had a sizeable influx of some of the better players from the 20s come down because games were so bad there.

I think you're going to have a tough time scheduling & keeping games active in a premade sense after the TC with school starting up for a lot of people. That's the situation i'll be in. Between school, work, & general day-to-day life it's not really ideal or practical to get 20+ people on all at once in my opinion. Maybe a league before next years cup if this game is even still a thing by then it'd work out but i'd be surprised if more than 2-3 teams play 100% year round.

I will be around in the community, available for contact thru curse and thru btag for potential pick up games or funmades but I probably won't be queuing up for pugs as I used to do. I am kinda over this expansion and it's gameplay for 19s and will focus on 39s happening on the weekends.

War games will only stop pugs while they are happening, maybe. That leaves the majority of the week to PuGs.

Not only that but if 20 people leaving the Queue to play war games is enough to kill games on a regular basis, than we are catering to the majority, not the minority and more people will benefit as a result.

The NWL does not require any team to play year round.

Im looking forward to reactivating my other account and, when time permits, queueing ally side. See you in the gulch.

one negative would be the quality of games, the vast majority of them are terrible. 30% winrate and dropping, and all I can do in most games is watch and be sad. I'm open to being hopeful for more even games in the future but if that is a result of the caliber of players going down then I don't really see that as better. Even when we win it's usually just a snoozefest in the opposite direction. Truly even games are extremely rare. I'm only logging in for the people at this rate and I don't know if I can justify the subscription cost for just that

sadly all of the above post is true for the most part.....

sometimes i need to get some time in playing twinks with more than 15 spells.... but i will always play 19s again even when i dissapear for a lil while, until something keeps me from playing videogames entirely!

I will always around.. hopefully I won't end up alone watching a 1hr+ queue drag by for a pop.. don't quit indefinitely, guys. This bracket is special - we've developed a culture so niche in size, I can hardly explain my hobby to people who don't play videogames..

29s are not the next big thing unless you like the pwn noobs style of old school twinking. a good number of 19s tried it during the great queue bug. we gy farmed dragonmaw horde and had a few laughs, but it really isn't fun longterm, due to the lack of challenge.

it's not competitive, you got f2ps starters, 20s and 29s, with terrible faction imbalance, the last time i checked. if there is another option besides 19s, it's going to have to be 39s.

i however think that we shouldn't give up on 19s. the way i feels is: if you got a big friends list, and like to make 5-mans, try to get another 5-man on the opposite faction going at the same time. you can play against your friends and whatnot. (i say this knowing this is what i should be doing, but i haven't branched out that far in the community, yet).

what i don't get is these people in college, and how they have no time when they're in school. i have just gone college, worked full time, and gone to college and worked part-time. i never have had more time to **** around than when i'm in school. ofc, i'm super-smart. jk.

At this state i like to queue 5 man with my EU friends, simply because Horde is waaaay too overpowered and if we dont queue 5 man then we'll have an awesome time sitting behind the gy fences with a cup of tea.

Anyone have a change of plans now that the twinkcup is over?

It's the social aspect man. If you have roommates the last thing you want to do is be known as the kid that nerds out on WoW every weekend.

And for a lot of people it's much harder to keep the grades up while playing WoW.
