Will you play veteran accounts or still play on a "pure" f2p?

There are three types of F2P account, pure/linked/veteran. Having a stupid pink shirt has nothing to do with the type of account you have. It just means you farmed ICC for it.

It's a one time payment of $5 with 10 days every 3 months for an opportunity to keep you up to date with everything.
I understand the "pride" of being a "pure f2p" but don't let that turn into ignorance. Ultimately it's all about having fun, and getting the most out of the game.

So far I have resubbed to get all my P2P chants in the heirloom tab.

I will probably make 4-5 veteran twinks who I will attempt to "fully" twink with professions and enchants. I'm making these just because of my twinking compulsion to make toons with the best possible twinked gear, etc. They are kind of a pain in the ass because they're more time consuming and work intensive. I am trying to decide which classes, races etc to make for these guys. They will be used for pugging, etc.

Then there are the 2 linked accounts I have attached to my P2P, these are great because you can easily make a bunch of different toons and have all the gear, the p2p BOAs, necks, pirate ring, claws and everything. But they won't have enchants or professions. I will probably continue to make tons of these.

Then I have my pure, unlinked and separate F2P account which will stay that way, I won't upgrade or anything, I dont see the point. Theyre still my favourites and I dont want to contaminate them. I will probably still play them alot as long as they are playable within the bracket for pugs (not totally underpowered against).

BUT Please please understand THIS: I used to love showing people my gear and status as f2p..In catac I always got "wow how did you get boas and your a f2p" We now have veteran account and all this stuff that are breaking our distinction from f2p to p2p... WHO are you gonna show off your status and prestige to now?? WHO!? NO ONE in the wow world will belive you or even care for that matter...they see a 20 with boas and High Achievements...cool just an alt from 100 or w.e....they won't think "pure f2p with cool stuff"...and if you try to show off, they will think you got the status from high level toons...they won't be seeing a f2p restricted account of you but rather a veteran. Now your last option is to show off in the TI community...but I don't even think half of the TI members are aware of how f2p twinking goes..so that just leave us with our small community..the f2p and some 20-29s..and my time here on TI ..a portion of this small community is going to care of your achievements .. The others are to proud from their own status. So i must be missing the main point..what is the point now to your status and achievements as a pure f2p?? To show of to a very small group of people your achievements??

And I hear talk about "I like to be challanged" ...there is no reason to not have a veteran account with restricted sets or playstyles
So please give me one good reason to not go veteran

I went full blown Vet. Subscription ends on the 19th for me. And I agree with Turtle's statement. This isn't cata anymore. You can still play as a F2P Vet but now it's less frustrating to face 29 ferals/brewmasters/spriests.

As a community I think it'll be more beneficial to embrace 6.1 Vet Accounts rather than trying to segregate the idea along with a condescending behavior towards anyone who does decide to go Vet.

But why all people not go veteran, I mean veteran is the best of 2 worlds where you can still make the statement of not paying for the game. It is so cheap to realise and a much better way to make a statement then just staying a pure f2p. Blizzard will never know the opinon of a pure f2p concerning this game because there is no option to quit the game because you never started it and makes it a bad argument to stay pure f2p. If you quit an upgraded account and stop paying you are ringing bells. Subs is all that matters for Blizzard not pure f2p.

I seriously don't get some of the peoples votes on this poll. People were and are so mad and annoyed about p2p's, put it aside and get the stuff we all use and think a little for yourself instead of running with the crowd. Make your twink complete!

Why do you demonize unenchanted heirlooms?

Ok, necklaces are OP, but other heirlooms are rather alternative gears, than BiS. F2P equipped with guild heirlooms is still light years away from 28-29s twinks. According to your logic, you should count every F2Ps with AGM as not pure, because I hardly believe someone can solo acquire it without P2P help.

Currently should be: 37 F2Ps and 33 vetarans.

In my opinion I am fine with any opinion you guys have, personally I went full blown veteran and I will not have a f2p offset, thats like saying 29s should use a f2p set, we are in the same bracket with the same gear available, I am fine with you staying full, pure f2p as I will keep one of my accounts f2p, but please do not complain about veterans using gear they are not able to use a) that is your choice for staying f2p and you should be the ones who are restrcited, not us and b) that is as stupid as saying that I should switch my gfd gear out for nongfd gear, if you really want to "level the playing field" go veteran. P.S. The reason I will not have have a f2p set is almost half my gear is gfd or very difficult to obtain multiple versions (ie gloom, shadowfang, goblin screwdriver, foremans, RoP, defias set, ect)

P2Ps are only playing in 20-29 bracket for easy frags. They don't seek challenge at all. If they can't facerolling anymore, they will go elsewhere. These cowards will rather leave, instead of become veterans's farming material.

Their number is growing every day in 90-99 bracket. That is their new playground. 90+ trolls have already destroyed that bracket: one-shotting & farming 90 palyers without die 24/7. Scaling couldn't save Battle.Chest owners from humiliation. The Company really cares about their paying members, doesn't he?

I wonder when will your kind start posting scoreboards about farming poor F2Ps with your enchanted toons. THAT'S THE IRONIC. After 28-29s disappeared, enchanted veterans will be the new hated race.

As I stated in my previous post. I am trying to help bring together the F2P Community. I've been helping since Cata, rather than posting scoreboard threads; I am taking the time to help F2Ps on AP and recruit more players to AP to bring about a larger and stronger F2P community . Why are you trying so hard to segregate F2Ps and F2P Vets with hateposts?

It's fine if you don't choose to become a Vet Account, not everyone is; or rather they are delaying it. Doesn't mean you need to help fuel corruption into the community.
