EU+US Why No..

Well I was facing twink groups the whole evening. Germans/Russians/EN.
Lots of good games today!!

been like this for like a week or 2. Had some really fun games tbh. Although it feels like ally needs more?

kk i bought a sub i'll play some games when r peak times yeah im using no commas

off topic: wasnt GSC a throwntogether guild of former 19s that went 20-29 back ages ago, or have I confused myself with memory again?

GSC was made in cata not by former 19s but by 24 players
GSC was made back in vanilla and used to be a level 19 twink guild. Dan just copied and pasted this, even those surfers riding the waves on their boards picture. If he was in this original 19s guild, I do not know but I think he was. The one on raven Dan made was to counter the rusty/clinic premading in the 20-24 bracket. It started off with just real id parties and soon after he formed his guild with old 19s players and new and older 20-24 players.

I knew I had seen that name somewhere before! And I never played 20-29, so was a tad confused, thx for the clarification.

No doubt that GSC and SR has the best players around. However, if we keep stating players that aren't playing it's pointless.
Even if Pugs aren't of the same quality as it was in WoD, you can easily tell which players excel just from watching how they play, how they move, and their consistency throughout games.

They may fall out in a match against the aforementioned big guilds, but that also has to do with history of how much activity US has had vs EU, and which players have been playing what region etc. For players to develop even further, they must first find a challenge. Pugs only offer you so much. At some point, you reach a peak where you need to be challenged on different fronts, against different players. That is hard to find these days on EU.

But you can easily tell who is picking up quickly, and who the "veterans" are. I believe that there are players that stand out in the game's current state, and I guess that's what the thread is more about. With that in mind, a few names stood out as of who is actively queuing.

In no particular order or ranking:

Tricegonbad on monk
Lildr on shaman
Bubyo on rogue
Zioni on druid
Kalimbaa on warlock
Slack on mage
Squidgy on rogue/druid
Sami on any class
Wewewewewewew on disc
Blackgift on disc
hulahoopgirl on shaman
Holythane on ret/holy pala
Sonny on monk
And a few others I missed.

Special shoutout to people that used to queue, but seem inactive at the moment, but are still good players that comes on and off from time to time, Blackout, Artonkn, Vianco, Sannchez, Ben Tilley/Melake, and some others.

Shoutout to all of those who played WoD when it was active on EU, even you Americans across the pond that chose to play EU as well during that time.

Shoutout to those who aspire to play plebs, and want to keep them going, and attend them as well.
You know who you are, even if you're not active in the pug scene. Again, some of you across the pond.

I know this wasn't necessarily a "best of" reply, but it's really hard to make a "best of" in general. Especially because some people have different playstyles and take on different roles. And since the bracket isn't as competitive as it has been, those roles have become A LOT more liquefied(?). What i mean by that, is the roles that were before set in stone, is being taken on by different classes in order to win the game. Just because sometimes you have to. Due to player quality in a pug.

This is my take on it.

Edit: shoutout to all the new guilds that sprung up recently. Hope you guys can keep the activity going. A lot of new people with potential for the future of twinks.
Missing you on the list
