ok so i got my wow1 account suspended for 10 days for a chat violation so i thought ok now would be a great time to make a second wow account so i got on the internet browser loaded up battlenet went in and created a wow2 account

so now i have a free to play account that has never subbed to my surprise i have all my heirlooms, transmogs, toys, mounts ect just general things i did not think i would have which was pretty a exciting find

so priority 1 for me was to make 2 toons 1 on each faction and grind out a frost scythe on each so i can have 2 instances up and power lvl my main accounts toons to 60 i managed to get em after about 8 hours then i logged off and went to bed

when i got back on i decided ok now is the time to get the accounts the way i like them and do the options for auto loot set up my bars ect they all stuck from the option menu no problem

but now that im trying to do my edit mode and move things around and save a custom ui preset it works when im logged in the time i edit it and it even shows the saved ui profile but as soon as i log or exit game the ui edits are lost like it wont even save my presets that i 100% saved

i tried disabling addons and even uninstalling all my addons with no luck in fixing this ui issue

any1 know what i need to do to make my ui settings save and stick even after i log out or close the game ? is this because my main wow1 account is suspended? or is this just not a option for free to play players? if its not a option any1 know any good addons that will save my ui presets for me? or any workarounds? plz send help thanks

There is a file where the ui settings are stored, one file for eveey char char you got. so if you find them, you can just do some copy and paste to get the same ui on both same it should stick.

Not sure if it's related, but I've noticed that if you are running multiple instances of WoW that it sometimes overwrites the settings on exit.
