Personally in my limited experience on this site I've seen a positive change since Kincaid became primary on 19/29. He seems like a reasonable guy that likes to explain his thought process, etc. Doesn't mean I always agree with him, just that he doesn't appear at all to be abusing power, etc.
I am frequently on the edge as my competitive nature can make me *ahem* a little angry at times, so not disagreeing with anyone that the site is over moderated relative to where I wish it was (and no I don't think it should be as moderation free as the other forum - I like to have two options). Just saying I think Kincaide sometimes gets bashed a bit unfairly or at least feels targeted by the general hate against over moderation.

Likewise. It's a huge turd sandwich to swallow with a smile. We've been here since the beginning, and largely kept to our corner. It's a shame that the other subforums had to ruin the trolling and salt that is the 29 lifeblood.
I understand the need for moderating things like personal RL flame wars. But apart from that, 29s should be left to their own devices. Seeing mods (especially ones that don't play the bracket) in our threads breaks the confidentiality agreement that 29 squabbles have followed for years.

Have to remember that there is a lot of ex 19's over there, everything is about proving how big their piece is, overcompensating ftl boys.

I don't agree with a lot of what has been said by both HB's crew and the old school 29 crew. Both of you seem to be very salty against each other and are sticking to your opinions and views very strongly.
I do know one thing for sure. HB's team has a lot more experience setting up and participating in war games and premades. They are also a higher skilled group of players than the old school 29ers. I wouldn't suggest talking down to HB's team when it comes to their play in the Gulch. They are a force to be reckoned with, whether they are on F2Ps or P2Ps. They are the only team that has been able to match my guild's level of intensity and success in the Gulch. If war games or premades ever happen between HB's team and the old school 29ers, HB's team will dominate. Anyone who thinks otherwise is either misinformed or biased.
Wanted to make a random post as an outsider. I've been enjoying the recent 29 threads. Keep up the juicy drama.

From the perspective of a "premade", I'd say anyone outside of DetoX representing "Oldschool 29s" would be a disservice to the term. I'd say this is "Whoever is reasonably competent and online". I'm ready to show up and play, and maybe get smashed. My prediction is if this really is one-sided and there is shitposting, we don't get a rematch going. I recall being in a few premades with actual guilds of people who just weren't interested after the first (unsuccessful) shot.
Also if the horde is "Oldschool 29s" how the hell do they get tapout and livingforce and kunz? I'm pretty sure the lower bracket lines are fairly blurred on this one. It is a more compelling narrative though....

Still does not change the fact that they were wrong regarding what they said about Dont vis-a-vis XP not being turned on for wargames. It was not his personal fault, yet they piled on him with the personal attacks blaming him, and STILL none of them has the balls to man up and apologize for that.
Perhaps testosterone replacement therapy, or prosthetic testicles might be some prize ideas for that 19 tournament?

Why would anyone have to apologize for hurting someone's feelings. First of all, it's a video game. Second of all, you guys are 20-40 years old. I don't think an apology is necessary. Third of all, don't attempt to call me out on spelling when you can't even use punctuation correctly.

Well the MYT crew may not be detox....but we are the most successful 19/29 twink guild of all time so that deserves a little credit I guess. :|
I can't speak for HB's team but the Horde team being put together was a throw together of whoever could be grabbed really. Our Guardian FC had full int gear on the entire time for example. Probably 3-4 ppl refused to turn xp on for wargames because they just don't know any better (in the sense that they're not 100% secure that some ignorant troll, of which today's 19/29 is sadly full of, won't be able to do something to give them xp just to compete for world's biggest douche). So to say this team is going to get rolled because it's less skilled isn't really an apples to oranges comparison. A complete throw together of ppl that haven't played together and whatever class mix they're on (we had 3 frost mages for example - not quite optimal) with whatever gear they have is far from a team vs. team match. The throw together is SUPPOSED to lose that.

He had 6800 in bear. I inspected him and kept asking why he had int gear on (note: by INT GEAR I mean int/stam, not full int - sorry if that was confusing). My point is unless I'm confused about guardian (never played one) agil is their stat that matters (stam matters for everyone) and int does nothing. But maybe he knows something I don't?
